No, R17 is a separate character with a unique melee combo set. The paid characters are going to be Jiren, UI Goku, Ranger 17 and Fu.

It's way too damn soon for Fuu to show up, especially since he's only an infant in the current timeline.

How do you know that? Dragon Ball Xenoverse is not Dragon Ball Online, there's no reason to think Fuu is a baby if he wasn't even mentioned at all. We don't know how and if Dimps will handle his character, but certainly in order to fit him in, things will be as different as possible.

Not to mention that it's a story about TIME TRAVEL, so even if he is a baby right now the Fu that shows up could be from the future coming back to get revenge.
Anyways, people need to remember that we are confirmed to be getting a "new original character", if the other 3 are Jiren, UI Goku and Ranger 17 then FUU is the new one and the listing being FUU along with the fact that he has the same demonic aura as Towa and Mira means he is almost definitely Fu.

Took me a while but it’s not that bad with the time they allow, plus it taught me some new combos

It seems Zamasu also has the ability to draw out hidden potential like Old Kaioshin. Which is weird, because if I'm correct, Old Kaioshin only has that ability because of the witch he fused with. But I must say, Zamasu singing is priceless.

Woot for someone posting about that level up wish being repeatable, I've finally hit Lv. 99 with my main character! That is still the max right, they haven't upped it to Lv. 100?

Finally have all outfit pieces, skills, and Super Souls you can get via PQ's as well (even the newest batch from the DLC), so now I just need the Turtle Hermit set from a wish, and then it's all down to skills/outfit pieces/Super Souls that are in the TP shop.

Well, that and the Super Souls I have to mix for...oy.

Another race: Alien

Basically encompasses all the features from every alien character in dragon ball from apple to Jiren, to Saibaman.

Shinjin transformation:

Kaioshin: Ring of Light (like fused Zamasu). Also, after passing a certain ranking, they get promoted to Supreme Kai status from just regular kai status.

Demon: Darkness or Demon God/goddess. Demon god would be the god mode equivalent for that race.

Don’t know what the Alien transformation would be though

Yeah, you two are right. I keep thinking that Xenoverse is like a DBO reboot or something. But judging by how closely Dimps followed some of the content from Online(some of the storylines, clothes, hairstyles, etc.), I still think Fu exists in the current Xenoverse timeline...somehow.

Finally got the DLC but didn't try anything out too much. Just played around with the new characters a bit and I must say Tapion's combos are cool as heck and 13 has a pretty creative output for this type of game. Dabura is a bit too slow and clunky to use for my tastes but I'm getting the hang of him. Buuhan though is a severe disappointment; Hope he gets a bit revamped in XV3.

Well, i honestly dont know. All the stuff in XV2 and the DLCs will be in XV3 but there is a lot of hype content getting released now.

You're totally misunderstanding what they said, there is no way to know exactly what his combos are as in you can't see them, but he is listed as a separate character, meaning his animations aren't the same.
Hit was a very unique case because they rushed to get him in the base game.
Sure, it's a possibility that he's a free character, but I don't see why they'd go through the trouble of changing 17's animations if it was just a freebie.

We've got multiple free DLC costumes so the same thing will most likely apply to ranger 17. I hope the 4th character is Baby as he's the only unplayable villain which is very surprising.
