Pretty much, plus I don't get the criticism. The only cut that used dialogue that wasin't in the original animation was Goku's "even Bulma!" line. Even then Goku was yelling so the delivery matches the expression on his face. Everything seemed to flow to me. I like that Vegeta decides to fuse the moment Goku tells him about Bulma. Rather than the anime dragging his decision out with the "are you sure it will work?" line. My cut eliminates a lot of redundant dialogue not in the manga.

Thanks, in my cut Vegetto gets about 20 minutes of screen time, seems about right. Beyond using the manga as a blueprint for my editing, my vision for this edit is how would Dragon Ball flow pacing wise if it was properly adapted into live action films.

Hey if you don't mind me asking, how do you make these cuts? How do sync up the dragon box footage and kai audio up? I've been trying to do my own but it's extremely time consuming.

Well beyond my own style of lowering redundancy in the dialogue and speeding up the fights. To make the soundeffects/lines match the footage you have to do a lot of cutting to get the rhythm of the kai audio track in sync. It was some trail and error for me at first but iv'e mastered it now.

Any decent video editing software can do it. I, personally, used iMovie for my Dragon Box cut of Kai TFC's first episode. It was a long process, but it worked pretty well.

I got about 2 an half minutes but it took me 4 hours!! Man I must be doing something wrong.

You're going to have to make cuts in literally every scene to make it sync. Once you get that down it shouldn't take as long to edit.
