Today's episode seems interesting, really looking forward to it.

U10 was built as fodder. They're team leader's name basically translated to 'useless'.

What were you expecting? Gowasu was an idiot and Rumsshi lacked a functioning brain. I'm actually astonished that they were not the first Universe to be erased! So sad. They stained Zamasu's reputation.

I agree, in fact, that scene in which Ramushi tells Gowasu to trust in the muscles seems like the typical mistake that makes coachers fail in a lot of movies/series.

Poor Obuni He was the only REAL fighter.

This makes me wonder something. Even if the characters that we're currently seeing are supossed to be the strongest from their universes, how do se exactly know? The fact that U10 fighters were chosen in a pretty moronic way makes me think that the actual strongest warriors may have been left out, imagine that there was some character that was not really strong physically but that could idk manipulate matter, he could have been a Huge threat.

Given all the universes are fighting for survival, it's very likely the 10 fighters chosen are the strongest known fighters in their universes.

This isn't Universe 7 that excludes Buu and Trunks/Goten for human characters who are far weaker because of Toriyama's bias.

I agree, we all know the Ultimate U7 Team would be formed by: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Majin Boo, 17, Piccolo, Trunks, Goten, 18 and Krillin (and if you want to also include Freeza, just dimiss Krillin and there you go.)

We don't know. That's why they can get away with saying they are the strongest and then possibly introducing stronger ones in the future. As we saw, many Gods didn't know their Universes that well.

Sidra and Rou for one. They were going planet to planet searching for contestants right until time for the tournament. Champa and Fuwa either. Vados handled a lot of the recruitment for the first tournament and they left Cabba to find Kale and Caulifla. If Renso had been fit to fight they might never have been recruited.

The gods of Universes 11, 2, 3 and 4 seemed the most well-prepared for the tournament.

But she's an angel, it's not really her function to know about tbe living creatures of the universe, but the Kaioshin (Khai) and the God Of Destruction (Belmod).

I would love Majin Buu to participate, but in my headcanon wouldn't it kind of be cheating? Since Buu has Grand Supreme Kai absorbed. I don't know if it was ever outright stated that the Supreme Kais or the Gods of Destruction couldn't participate, but we assume so. Though I also think that if Buu got to participate and they discussed this Omni king would eventually allow it because Buu is cool.

Fat Buu isn't even that strong anymore, compared to how "broken" he seemed in the Buu arc. There are now tons of characters stronger than him, and nobody knows he absorbed Kai's but our universe.

It's a real shame Buu missed out on another tournament. Since he has no real character the only thing he is good for is fighting. I feel like we missed out on a lot of good and funny Buu techniques and attacks by not seeing him used. I would have gladly traded Tenshinhan for him.

This isn't true. The GoDs from what I've seen picked only the "good" guys. For example, in U11, the Monster that was bout to eat Dyspo was stronger than quite a few of the Pride Troopers. But they couldn't recruit it, because it was evil and wouldn't work for them. Other Universes most likely have strong villains too, but they wouldn't be willing to negotiate.

I think only U7 tried the Freeza approach to get a strong evil guy on their side.

I don't know why, but for some strange reason, I'm expecting this episode to suck Dragon Balls. Maybe the only good part would be Universe 4 getting destroyed, but even then, I really don't care about Universe 4.
