Geez, a lot of those reasons for that girl hating Trunks have somthing to do with him being gay! Or his hair color being gay! Well I think his hair is very pretty, so nyah on her.

It might be easier as a percentage.

If someone said my hair was pretty, I'd be weirded out, but still take it as a compliment. Well, if it was a guy, I'd just hurt them. And If I knew them? I'd still playfully hurt them. Just so long as they're hurt.

Utter hilarity right there. That list is HILARIOUS. I laughed for a good long time reading it. Holy lord.

But let's get serious.

The Cell's secret love site is a little...odd. I mean, it's pretty obvious that Cell just wanted to absorb 18 for the power, but uh the reasons that person listed were kind of intriguing. If Cell weren't some bug lookin thing and was more bishounen, I'm sure the idea wouldn't be so far-fetched. The whole secret love thing is an interesting, though...in a weird, sadomasochistic way. I guess. (you know, cause I'm the kinda fan that thinks Vegeta and 18 would be neato) ¬_¬;;;

lol... those "Bulma's just a slut!!!" comments are classic... I've come across many anti-Bulma (and other DB character) rants and they're usually terribly retarded... more often that not most all the information presented is absolute shit, and I tire of seeing so many people using an over-abundance of "!!!"s to get their [usually incorrect] point across when flaming an anime or manga character.
I hate anti-Bulma rants, almost as much as those for Yamcha, Chi-Chi, and Goku.

I've always thought Hiromi Tsuru has a very pretty voice.

yep, me too. Didn't like it at first but I totally do now... it feels kind of strange for me to say, but I think it fits her perfectly. O.o;;

That Cell editorial was interesting... I laughed especially hard when reading the "Finality" section, seeing as how everything that was described was juicy filler and couldn't be counted as something that actually happened in the series.

You must be referring to her faux sluttiness, because in actuality, she's only been with two guys in the span of over twenty years!

Probably, but people can't be totally sure that she ever slept with Yamcha, right?

Hiromi Tsuru has always been one of my favourite seiyuus. But let's face facts that this retard has never watched the sub anyway and is referring to the dub actress, which she actually is kind of right on that one. It still not a good enough reason to hate Buruma though.

The guy with the Cell and #18 theory I felt was reading too much into things. Obviously he's just seen the dub since he quotes dub lines as evidence which shoots down half of his argument right there. As to his point about how Cell walks slowly towards #18 in a seductive way, I've never gotten that sense. To me, he's relishing the moment of finally absorbing her and becoming his perfect form. He doesn't bother reacting to her blows because at that point, he's so pleased that thanks to Vegita, nothing is going to stand in the way of his goal, that I feel he's just acting cocky. I've never gotten the sense that there is any kind of sexual meaning behind any of Cell's interactions with #18. It's just a predator and prey relationship.

Concerning Yamucha and Buruma, this is just my opinion but, I honestly don't think the two of them ever slept with one another. I know some people here will think I'm crazy for thinking that, but it's just the sense I get. When they were in their "I like you again" phases, they always acted quite bashful around each other. It's almost like Yamucha was Buruma's teenage puppy love and Vegita was her actual life-long love. Just my opinion anyway.

Yeah, I always thought she was a perfect voice for Bulma's character. I think it's because she actually matured along with the character instead of being stuck on 16 year old valleygirl.

And the weird thing about the dub voice is that Bulma was actually almost 30 when she started doing the voice. She didn't actually play 16-year old Bulma until a few years later. (Outside of the two movies, obviously.)

Are you talking about Maggie Blue O'Hare from the Blue Waters dub or Tiffany(can't remember her last name) from the Funi dub Liam?

I'll beat you to it. With a wee bit of selective interpretation, any couple can work. Mirai Puar (Toriyama's a liar. Puar's as female as Bulma)... Mirai Trunks... both lost and alone... They find each other, have long, heartfelt discussions, reveal terrible secrets (like how Yamucha was always looking at other cats with softer fur or fluffier tails), and fall in love. Perfect.
