I think in general people just know Goku is in no danger of mistreatment from the author or studio or..anyone really. That said, I believe a segment (and that would support the data in that scan) is a bit tired or bored with him.

It really sucks that they tired to replace him twice yet his fandom didn’t like that.

I do wonder if Goku and Freeza could fuse together? It sounds crazy, but I think they could pull it off in order to win.

The only reason I could see Frieza agreeing to doing this is so he could steal Gokus knowledge of UI. Even though Goku doesn’t necessarily know how it’s being triggered, maybe Frieza is capable of it.

There are ways of making it look cool. It could be Goku with pale skin, the lines under his eyes, and purple bulbs on his shoulders and chest. Then they can transform to true golden god mode where his hair and bulbs turn gold.

There's probably someone out there that can pull it off but I doubt we'll see it officially. If they try to do it it'll just be a mess.

Ya I doubt they would do it either, though I think it would be cool if the did fuse, won, and then wished to stay fused. They would be the next villain and they would be above GoD level. This would implement Frieza as a fan favorite villain, and give us the real Goku as a villain instead of Goku Black/Zamasu. And it would also make it so Goku can't save the day again. Though I think this story would probably be too complicated for Super, lol.

Goku not saving the day and being in the picture 24/7 is the complication cause Super can't go a few seconds without showing him let alone something like that. That's probably why we got a Zamasu in Goku's body instead of an actual evil Goku.

I could picture Frieza attaining the Ultra Instinct and probably mastering it. He could go on rampage and defeat the other Gods, proclaiming himself as the God Of Destruction of the remaining universe.

Re: evil version of Goku

I was super-excited for the idea of warped-damaged-evil Goku back during the early days of the Goku Black arc before we knew he was really Zamasu. Like I was chomping at the bit theorizing how a Goku from another timeline could be pushed to that kind of breaking point, but ultimately Dragon Ball isn't that kind of series I guess.

Still I had a lot of fun before the reveal occurred and I'm happy I got to follow that arc live. I don't think I'd enjoy it as much if I knew who exactly Goku Black was from the start.

With the exception of episode 101 all of his episodes did below the 5.0 mark He looks like a momentum killer, he has only got over in the West. There was also this.

This kind of logic is too limiting to my taste. A poll is a poll. They asked a segment of the fanbase and the highest scores went for Freeza and Yamcha, respectively.

Data is not the issue, is how you are using it. This proves that some people like Freeza and Yamcha over Goku, thats nothing new and I have met several people who have said such.


It does not prove that an average segment, a medium segment or even a large segment like Yamcha and freeza over Goku .


Goku is the face of dragon ball and by far the most popular character in this franchise, that has been proven several times and it has not change. A small segment of the fandom who are bored or tired are quite frankly, irrelevant and are not enough to change the direction of the show, if they were , super were try to appease those fans by now and obviously the Yamcha fanbase isn't one of them

Yeah, unless the title or poster of the arc revolves around an erased universe or a plot point that hasn't occurred yet, announcing the next arc wouldn't spoil us.
