Good news is that it was up .1 compared to last week, but its still below the 5.0 mark.

Guess the fans were a bit interested in Koichi aka Megazord.

Super's TV ratings are never going to be the same again until Super Sentai/Kamen Rider is moved to a different timeslot.

I wonder if ratings will increase once we get to the climax.

6th place is better than the 7th place Super's been in for most of the past couple months. I think it's possible for Super to beat Time Bokan, but I can't see it cracking the top four unless they're on break a week that Super isn't.

Nope. Highest we've gotten is 3rd: Episodes 25, 47, and 50.

That's the climax of the RoF arc and the first episode of the Gokû Black arc, and the first Gokû vs Gokû Black fight.
On hiatus.

They were the same for this arc for over a month. Episodes 112-117 are in line with the average.

Probably.
Wouldn't be surprised if the ratings are a bit higher than they are now after the arc is over too, I'm sure the lengthy and structure of this tournament has turned at least some people off in Japan.

The fact it's under 5% isn't super relevant.

What matters is how far the next one of the list is.

Pokemon was really close last time, so this is good news this week.

I worry that Super's ratings aren't going to bounce back for a while though. It just seems that people are just done with this arc. I personally love this arc but I don't know about the majority though.

Super managed to achieve the occasional 5.5-6.0 rating on some occasions before Super Sentai/Kamen Rider to the same timeslot. But ever since that change back in early October, the ratings have struggled to reach that 5.5-6.0 region.

DBS went up 0.1% while One Piece dropped 0.5% this week.

I wouldn't be too surprised if this arc is facing some fatigue as it comes up on its 1-year anniversary, nor would I be surprised if they dip a bit more if Toei continues to hold off the Goku/Jiren rematch until the last possible minute. They'll most likely spike then, but you have to be careful stringing viewers along for too long or you run the risk that they won't come back.

I think it's already showing. Look at the episode thread, it barely reached 7 pages of discussion. A first since the TOP started I think. I know it was an average episode, but even average episodes used to get more attention/discussion than this.

This weekend will be the last episode before u7 vs u11. Since after that it will be Jiren vs Vegeta, i am assuming it will get more views.

I just wonder if people stop caring about more longer arcs in Super. At first, people were calling for them when they were only 15 to 20 episodes, but now people are getting bored of an arc that is nearing 50 episodes.

If Super is to go on for 700 episodes a few long arcs are to be expected.

Super probably won't even last DBZ's episode count of 291 eps.

Super will most likely surpass DB + Z + GT's combined episode count.

I don't see how that's possible at all. Wouldn't Super have to air for like 10 years for that to happen?

Dragonball started in 1986 and GT ended in 1997. I can't see Super lasting 10 years.
