Logically Hit should have been one shot by Jiren and kefla one shot by UI goku but it didn't because they have 19 minutes of screen time to fill and characters to promote. Also toei loves their fake tension. Vegeta will not beat jiren but there will come a moment in the episode where he does something impressive or gets some powerup that will end up meaningless but still happen regardless

I dont expect them to do that. I think that they will make vegeta a joke next to jiren. In fact, i dont think he is doing this to stall. He had his pride hurt by toppo, and now he foolishly wants to challenge jiren. But thats my opinion. Just like you have yours

Vegeta did just fine against Toppo. They both got some good hits in. With that being said, we don’t know how serious either one of them were.

I also recall someone saying that they wrote a really cool Vegeta episode a couple months ago. If this is the episode, I doubt they’ll show Vegeta being completely useless. Like you seem to imply.

Cool vegeta episode =\= vegeta wont be useless, it also doesnt mean he will be useless, its just my opinion.
Anyway, we dont even know if vegeta is even going to fight jiren. For all we know he may try to challenge him and toopo and dyspo interfeer.

I mean with stamina conservation being a thing, there is more "tension" when the sayains use lesser forms to fight opponent. But I'm not a fan of this either, but it's at least more enjoyable than 17's fights, because despite sandbagging Vegeta always looks like he's trying.

The fact that it was his teammate screwed him is meaningless. He got outsmarted by Frost, and that's why there was tension. They could have done this Damon, but Damon just landed one good hit on 17 and after that he tanked all of Damon's hits. If it had been 17 in the fight with Frost fight they would have just had him pummel Frost and knock him out.

Again, I said sucks up screentime as in these constant fodder stomps are a waste of time. When is he going to struggle? And I've said time and time again I'd be fine with 17 if he actually gets a good fight, so I really have no idea why you're sticking with the idea that I have a personal resentment towards the character. He's fictional, I don't care. I jist think he's boring. That's all.

As for the super thing, I'm just making the observation of you coming to the defense of Super everytime someone makes a complaint about it. I mean not saying you're not allowed to since, since you can post whatever you want here(to some extent).

Goku has been low on stamina since 110 and there has been real tension about it because he regains it so fast.

He didn't tank any Damon's hits and it was more than one punch. And why wouldn't 17 plummet Frost since he wouldn't be using Super Saiyan level of powers like Vegeta, but even he would have some issues with Magetta.

Which again everyone has done with the Saiyans purposely not even going Super Saiyan to drag things out like 98 and they take up way more scene time 17. And you obviously do care do an extent, otherwise you wouldn't be on a forum talking about him and posting to me again about it.

I don't see 17 going out yet honestly he's due for his big fight I feel like it can go like this
Dyspo Vs Gohan and/or 17
Toppo Vs goku round 2 or Freeza assuming he wants to fight or Gohan
Jiren Vs vegeta then later goku assuming goku is gonna rest to try to tap in to UI again and vegeta can stall for him

I dont see vegeta stalling. For someone to stall, they need to be someahat on the same tier of strenght, ssb vegeta is literally hundreds, if not thousands of times weaker than jiren. Jiren could blink him out the stage if he wanted to.

You say that but that same gap and power could be used with Frost fighting Roshi Or Black hitting Mai. Yeah he was”holding back”, but the amount of restraint Frost would need to hold back from killing master Roshi is unbelievable. To the point where it’d be hard to fight him. Jiren could “blink” Goku off the stage as well and almost did, but he didn’t.

The point is, yeah Vegeta is realistically a long ways away from fighting Jiren and being competitive (unless he gets UI), but the writers are going to do what they want to do. So don’t expect them to be consistent with the rules they established. I fully expect them to make it similar to Gokus SSBKKx20 fight, even though we know the power gap between SSB Vegeta and SSBKK is large.

Either vegeta will get UI or a huge power up when he fights jiren they wouldn't bring in the best animators for nothing people need to realize.

I saw a fake spoiler about episode 123. Apparently goku awakens UI again to defeat dyspo and jiren after beating vegeta goes and meditates again. So by the end of 123 its toppo and jiren vs goku and freeza.

I was actually going to point this out but looks like he beat me to it. It definitely feels like every time. The slightest critique or if theres something a person flat out didn't like you come in like whiteknighting DBS as if it needs to be defended over the tiniest thing.
