Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I don't have suppressed Jiren above Hakaishins so my scale is:
Jiren >=< Genkisword Trunks >=< Vegetto Blue >= Merged Zamasu Light of Justice > UI Goku > BSS2 Kafla
Some guys have 1st UI Goku above Vegetto, in that case I'd place Trunks around the level Goku is now. He was crazy strong considering how he destroyed Zamasu.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
That's where people need to reanalyze things. Ultra Instinct isn't a pure power boost, that's entirely missing the point. As explicitly stated, Goku utilized the Genkidama as a temporary source of energy to restore his otherwise depleted body, not to boost his strength. Thus, SS2 Kefla's beams being able to kill Ultra Instinct Goku shouldn't be used as a measure for how strong someone at the level of a Hakaishin would be.Bullza wrote:Yeah but with that power, how does he rank in comparison to those in the Tournament of Power?PerhapsTheOtherOne wrote:It wasn't Future Trunks himself, but with the power of a Genkidama shaped into a blade.
We see that even SSB Goku struggled against all odds to survive his own Genkidama, one that he created with the intent of defeating Jiren, a being on the level of a Hakaishin.
You'd think he'd be below Ultra Instinct Goku who was also running on the Spirit Bombs power.
If then Merged Zamasu was below that Trunks but Super Saiyan 2 Kefla was above the Episode 110 version of Ultra Instinct Goku then does that mean that Kefla was stronger than Merged Zamasu?
Also, that was never Future Trunks's power to begin with. It was that of his friends, allies, everyone that was believing in him. Without that energy, he was still below SSR Goku Black in the SSRage form.

I´ve just read the manga, so it seems 17 is stronger than ssj2, somewhere around ssj3 top goku, and nowhere near ssg or ssb, the manga keeps doing things better than the anime, can´t wait to see how it handles gohan and freeza´s power levels.
Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Yeah but I'm specifically talking about when he has it. The Future Trunks who absorbed the Spirit Bomb of which he then formed that energy into the Spirit Sword.PerhapsTheOtherOne wrote:Also, that was never Future Trunks's power to begin with. Put him in the Tournament and how does he rank compared to everyone else, not taking into account that he would probably lose that power very quickly.

He'd be hard-pressed to use it to its fullest potential considering how damn deadly the damn thing is. IT'S A GENKIDAMA SWORD.Bullza wrote:Yeah but I'm specifically talking about when he has it. The Genkidama, with sufficient energy and/or shape, is one of the deadliest techniques in the franchise, able to even vaporize a regenerator's entire body as seen with Merged Zamasu.

Strongest in the tournament besides Jiren.Bullza wrote:So how do you think Trunks with the Spirit Sword fares in all this?
He did kill Merged Zamasu pretty easily after all.
Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I think he'd lose to SSB KKx20 Goku, considering that Merged Zamasu's Halo was broken by SSB KK Goku in the Goku Black Arc.ZombieVito wrote:Strongest in the tournament besides Jiren.Bullza wrote:So how do you think Trunks with the Spirit Sword fares in all this?

I would rank him with Kafla. Goku with Ultra Instinct and Jiren are probably above him though.Bullza wrote:Yeah but I'm specifically talking about when he has it. Someone made a good chart of power levels in Super. I think this will be my headcanon now.

Why is Toppo being downplayed here? Goku said SSB wouldn't have been enough to beat Toppo and neither Vegeta nor Frieza have anything that puts them above SSB.
Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Goku did say that, but Super!Goku has a nasty habit of underestimating himself for some reason. He kicked Toppo's ass while in SSB.The_Destroyer wrote:Why is Toppo being downplayed here? Toppo wasn't going all out in the exhibition match. They were powering up at the end, and that's what Goku was probably talking about.Doctor. wrote:Goku did say that, but Super!Goku has a nasty habit of underestimating himself for some reason. Vegeta didn't seem to have much of a problem dealing with Toppo, though.The_Destroyer wrote:Toppo wasn't going all out in the exhibition match. Jiren should be head and shoulders above UI Goku. If he isn't, then it would be a cheap way of destroying his character.
