Zamasu. I'd love to see his past, ranging from his birth as a Shinjin, to the beginning of his studies under Supreme Kai Gowasu.

We actually do have some informations about Zamasu's past. For example, we know that he was the North Kai of Universe 10, a young God who was a natural prodigy and was revered as a genius even among the Supreme Kais. He was chosen by Gowasu to be his successor because of his genius and astonishing power. Zamasu agreed to become Gowasu's apprentice, vowing to do his best to maintain Universal peace. We also know that Zamasu had watched countless examples that proved mortals' foolishness.

A movie delving into the origins of Zamasu, although not necessary, would be very much appreciated, since we would be able to better understand his stance, his position towards the lowly beings known as mortals, and maybe we'd find out a tragedy had happened in his life because of mortals. We would also explore his mentor-student relationship with Gowasu (Gowasu deeply cared about Zamasu, he was shocked by his fall from grace). There is still so much they could tell about Zamasu's story, even though Zamasu has been erased from existence. In addition, Zamasu, despite having been introduced recently in the franchise, has already become one of the most popular and beloved characters in the entire franchise.
At his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired. But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. [...] On my own, I doubt I would have been able to express Zamasu's fall to the dark side.

I agree with this for all the reasons you've stated. I feel there's a much stronger foundation for a Zamasu movie, as compared to a Hit, Gods, or Jiren movie. We know enough about him that a good two hour movie can be made focusing on the more captivating parts of his character and history. We know how Kai's are born, we know their purpose, we know their abilities, and we know where they stand in the hierarchy of beings that make up the universe. With all the knowledge we have on Zamasu and Kai's as a whole, the movie doesn't have to waste time on anything other then Zamasu's hate for mortals.

Contrast that to let's say a Jiren movie. First we gotta learn about his planet and race. Then there's how he got so strong. Introducing the Pride Troopers. Why he joined the Pride Troopers. Lovers, family, relationships. This isn't a movie, this is a series. Jiren needs a series. Hit needs a series. A movie or two would create more questions than it answers. Whereas one solid Zamasu film could flush out the character.

The Namekians are rife with lore, culture, and various planet-wide catastrophes that could be translated into a film if the interest was there. One area of their civilisation that would be interesting to see is their geo-political standing with other universal species prior to Freeza's infiltration. Were they an isolationist tribal society or did they have official links to other planets and countries? Maybe the Child of Katas' father could be the protagonist of the film. You would have direct link to the main cast of the series there. Although I could understand why some might feel that this is a conceptual rehashing of the Episode of Bardock. A good portion of the film's narrative could be dedicated to the origins of the Dragon Balls and how the Namekians came to be in possession of them. From there you would have the Child of Katas escaping the cataclysm that decimated the ecosystem of Namek and arriving on Earth. Maybe the last scene would show him diffusing into Kami and creating the Dragon Balls shortly after having inherited his position of guardian.

This namekians are most suitable for a film:
1.Already established
2.Unique with their abilities and mystic qualities especially dragon balls
3.Advanced technology and civilization
4.Potential story lines like an extinction event that doesn't make sense and possession of dragon ball

I'd love an origin movie about Freeza. There's still so much about him we don't know. What race is he from? Does he have any other family? How did his planet trading empire begin?

• The origin of the Multiverse.
• The origin of Zeno.
• The origin of angels.
• The origin of the tree that gives birth to Kaioshins.
• The origin of Kaioshin of Time.
• The origin of Namekuseijins.
• The origin of Freeza's race.

I think that's all.

This would be cool, I have been wanting to know about Katas and the near genocide of the Namekians. I think I'm more intrigued by all the Earth based mysticism in the series. I'm particularly interested in the Kami's of Earth. Like who was the first?

My Top 5 Origin Movie:

1. Katas, Kami, Piccolo Daimou, and Namek's destruction.
2. The origin of mysticism on Earth or simply a movie about Earth's Kamis.
3. Origin of Evil: King Cold's Empire
4. Not an origin per se, but a proper Mutaito vs. King Piccolo movie with badass young Roshi and Shen.
5. A Tenshinhan origin movie (if he's really an alien). I'm probably the only one interested in that though.

Honorable mention:
6. This one would be a nightmare to make, but I'd like to see a movie or series of eps. featuring the origins for the main cast (team U7) and how they met Goku. When I think about it, we don't know a lot about Yamcha, Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu, 17, or 18 outside of the plot and there connections with one another.
Big fan of the characters of Dragon Ball, all of them, especially formerly prominent sub-characters. -__-

Not movies, but it would be cool to see some OVA's, even for 1 episode each, focused on Hit, u6 saiyans and one about how Freeza's family became an empire. One of the U11 and U3 would bee cool too.

Young Roshi. It'd be the story of how his rivalry with the crane hermit began.

A story about 17 and 18, how their childhood was and how and why did Gero capture them and turn them into cyborgs.
Gowasu's number 1 fan.

I think for the most part, the origin stories for the Characters would work best as Special Episodes like the Bardock Special or History of Trunks Special, especially if you want many of them. I would like them and since the past for many DB Characters is complety unknown, there would be room for many interesting stuff. It would also be cool if some of the known backstories would be fleshed out. Let me tell you how i would make these stories:

1: The Story of Son Goku & Grampa Son Gohan:

It would be an interquel Tv Special between the Bardock Special and Dragon Ball Episode 1. The Soundtrack of this and all the other origin Specials/Movies should be remixed pieces from the Kikuchi Score aranged from Suitomo in his style, in a similar way how he did his remix of the Chala-head-chala theme (Suitomo Version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_Tq7EmpqAU) (Kikuchi Version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXU_EOk ... 3&index=14) That way it would feel more in line and conected with the older matterial, and some of these remixes could also later be reused in the main Series of DB Super.
The Special should start with Bardocks attack on Freeza's Spaceship and the destruction of Planet Vegeta. A remix of this Piece (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vC3gPlu ... V&index=23) should be used for the scenes of Bardocks Demise (or timetravel if you count Episode of Bardock) and the destruction of the Planet. It would continue with the spirit Bardock speach to Baby Goku in his pod, all the way to Gohan finding him in the Woods. The Scenes for all this could either be recycled footage or completly redrawn. The Opening for this special should be Hikari no Tabi (Full song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6shbS6f ... DlWHWK3RAn) (Bardock Special version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RWODxHPW-I) or a modern Remix of it, but with different scenes off course. The rest of the Special would cover Grampa Gohans time with little Goku, like how he was at first a very bad boy, how he transformed first into an Ozaru, how he hit his head and became a nice boy, how Gohan raised him into his early childhood, how he trained him into martial arts, how he warned him about the Full Moon and how he gave him his Monkstaff. The remixed Kikuchi pieces for this remainder section should all be from the A-J Package (example 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgGrvbw ... g6HvzmOUZI) (Example 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v94S4k8 ... kM&index=5). The Special would end on a more somber note with Son Goku looking at night again at the Full Moon, and killing Gohan this time as a more powerfull Ozaru. After burying his remains he would take Grampa Gohans 4 star Dragon Ball and view it as his Grampa. After that the Credits would roll and contain a full sung remix of Makafushigi Adventure (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmbc8E6rAmM) and show what he did the following years all on his one, while an image of his Grampa looks after him from the Sky. The Credits would end with Bulmas Car hiting Son Goku and after that, scenes in the Future where Goku is reunited with Grampa Gohan at Babas Palace would be shown and end the Special.

Ideas for more Character origin stories will follow tomorow.

Here comes my next idea for an origin story Special

2: The Story of Yamcha and Puar (and Oolong)

It would be a prequel Tv Special that shows how the life of Yamcha and Puar was before they met, how they ended up in Diablo Desert and how they became friends. Since not much details are known about these events it could be practically anything. For example we don´t know at all how Yamchas live was before he became a Desert Bandit so the writers of this Special would need to completly invent a convincing and believable past for Yamcha (or just ask Toriyama or Toyotaro). Because of this, there could be serveral scenarios for Yamchas past, that could be good if executed well. I did plan to give two examples but that would take too long so i give only the one i like the most of the two:

Yamcha would be an Orphanboy raised in an Boys only Orphanage, located on the Country a few miles away from a nearby Village. The Boys would only rarely get out of the Orphanage and visit the nearby Village. Therefore contact with the female Gender would also be very rarely. Yamcha would allways get shy around cute looking Girls and Woman the few times he gets to see them, and the other Orphanboys would always bully him because of that. He would often get into fights with the other Boys and get punished for that by his strict educators. He would hate that place and his life there and his only joy would be the Books of Martial Arts and the Books about famous Martial Arts masters and their stories, he found in the library of his Orphanage. Martial Arts would become his passion, and thanks to the Books he read, he manages it to teach himself the basics of it and improove upon it afterward and invent his own signature move, the Wolf Fang Fist, which would be mocked by his bullies. Some day the Educators would blame the Martial arte Books for his agressive behavior and his constant fights against the other boys and confiscate them. This would be the point where Yamcha has finally enough of this crap, and break out of the Orphanage at night, starting a new lawless life as an Bandit. After that the Opening would start and contain the first half of an Remix of Wolf Hurricane (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89DxgVdFOrQ) with scenes that show how he fights against the dangers he faces in the Wilderness, like wild Animals, Monsters or other Bandits. The rest of the Opening would show how he makes the Diablo Desert his home where he would ambush travelers and raid them of their valuable items. After that the sceanario would change, to 3 year Puar atending the Shapeshift Kindergarten, where he gets bullied by Oolong and his gang. Oolong would later get kicked out for stealing the teachers Pantys, but his former gangmember would still continue to bully Puar. One Year later Puar would runaway too, into the wilderness using his shapeshift powers to get out of dangers. Meanwhile 11 year old Yamcha would join a gang of other Bandits, and rob a Bank in a Town with them, just so that he can betray them and take all the Money for himself. He would Escape them and return to Diablo Desert believing they will never find him there. At the same Time Puar enters Diablo Desert and gets atacked by a vile Monster. Yamcha kills the Monster and saves Puar from it. He takes Puar and nurses him until his wounds are healed. Puar beginns to like Yamcha and wants to stay with him, but Yamcha refused and says he dosen´t want a partner. He Kicks Puar out of his lair and tells him to leave the Desert and never come back. After that, the Bandits Yamcha betrayed, ambush him and lay him in chains. There, they want to get revenge on him and take his life in the end. Puar who saw all of this from far away, invents a plan to save Yamcha from them. He tranforms himself into a small Fly and manages it to steal the Key of Yamchas Chains from the Boss of the gang. With Puars help, Yamcha is freed and then, beats the crap out the Bandits who run away after that, never to be seen again. After this Yamcha accepts Puar and both of them become partners in crime. After this the scene changes and we see an red horned Demon scaring a family out of an Mansion and take it as his own home. The Demon would tranform into an little Pig revealing to be Oolong. After that the Credits would roll containing the second half of the Wolf Hurricane Remix, and showing Yamchas and Puars Adventure in the Desert. After the Credits, five years have Passed, the now 9 year old Puar sees with his telescope, a little human Pig and an Monkey tailed Boy in the Desert, he returns to the Lair of the now 16 year old Yamcha, and tells him about the new Victims. Both of them are ready to go on their next raid which will change their lives. THE END!

The remixed Kikuchi Pieces for this Special should be from the A-J Package (Example 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_KJR4L ... I&index=11) (Example 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2zKvb- ... M&index=54) to the M 00 Package (Example 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQPt0Rb ... Yln6Q5uJ9E) (Example 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkrhPE4 ... E&index=20). But it should also contain a few remixed pieces from the M 200 Package:

1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mgkz29i ... h&index=22

2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAB_3PW ... h&index=24

3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcH7ryf ... h&index=25

4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qi0YRN ... -OOHEWkxIh

5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmRmT2_ ... h&index=19

6: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9LnCLr ... g6HvzmOUZI

I actually wanted to add another Character Origin Idea in this post, but my ideas are very long so i will continue to add only one idea per day. Tomorrow will follows a idea big enough for a Movie.

Wow, great story breakdowns there, really appreciate the work you`ve done. I always tought Yamcha`s background to be one of the most misterious of the cast given how much of a martial arts encyclopedia he was. A nice rundown of both Oolong and Puar at their academy would make for some nice classic Dragon Ball comedy :)

And Grandpa Gohan, I always wanted to know more about his earlier days and his training under Roshi!
