If Vegeta gets UI then he should be far stronger than UI Goku tbh unless outlines restrictions strike again.

Well the most likely answer I can think of is that like Beerus, Vegeta has not mastered it. Think of how Beerus used it in the manga. He didn't transform but he danced around the other gods, even Quitela and Belmod who are as strong or stronger then himself. But he also messed up and got grabbed by Mosco.

Vegeta punching Jiren at the end there reminds me of that filler Z Episode where Yamcha managed to get a hit in on Piccolo, same spot and facial expression to.

How did that fight end again?

Piccolo got absurdly arrogant, which allowed Tien and Co to get the drop on him, holding him in place while Yamcha finished off his pride with a single punch.

Please remind me when that episode happened, so I can go watch the fuck out of it right now.

Not before making Jiren semi-serious against SSJB Goku. Goku's Kamehameha made Jiren flinch before dodging the attack, meaning it could've caused some damage.

Funny, i only saw jiren go semi-serious against a UI goku, and tanked an energy blast like nothing from him. So jiren flinching against a ssb kamehameha is nothing.

Minor damage. What I'm trying to get at here (if you read my previous posts) is that it's retarded to go ahead judging the NEP prematurely because of Vegeta's well performance against Jiren when SSJB Goku and Hit beforehand put up that same level of performance against him.

Your reply is confusing me. I think the episode will play out just like ragegeta vs beerus. Vegeta seems to be doing well, after the final attack : BAM. Turns out jiren was just messing around

He looks like Cooler with a coat of the Great Saiyaman on top of him, the man with the hat looks like Yamcha, and the lady looks like Bulma. That anime has an art style strikingly similar to Dragon Ball GT. Was it also produced by Toei Animation around the same time?

Edit: turns out it's based on some manga by Toriyama and came out when GT was in production, and most likely Toei Animation produced it.

He looks like Cooler. That anime has an art style strikingly similar to Dragon Ball GT. Was it also produced by Toei Animation around the same time?

From what I can find it was a single 15 min OVA from 1991 and was produced by Shueisha.

Yeah, but he didn’t look too happy staring at that final flash head on. Definitely flinched more than he did with the Spirit Bomb.

Plus that initial kick after the confrontation was different than that random punch he made in the gut where he just stood there.

Also, I think Vegeta will survive that episode. They showed him getting blasted away in a manner that resembled him potentially flying out the ring.

In the end, Universe 3 had a far better treatment than Universe 10 and Universe 4. I'm impressed. Toei should have hyped Paparoni instead of Nigrisshi.

Something I loved about this episode is that everyone teamed up to fight against the villain. Something that rarely happens in this franchise.
It's usually everyone (except Vegeta and Goku) vs the villain - Goku alone - Vegeta alone - Goku again.

At this point I didn't expect anyone to be inside the robot. Mosco seemed to be a cool guy.

I’m genuinely surprised that Universe 3 received such a climactic send-off. Early in the tournament, they seemed to have been the second worst performing team after Universe 10, but they managed to hold on till near the end, and had a massive trump card. It definitely makes up for the disappointment that was Universe 4, even if they more or less copied the climax for Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans.

- Freeza vs. Dyspo
- Goku and Vegeta vs. Jiren
