Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
How about we be a bit rationale here and actually wait for the actual episode to air before we pass judgement.

It's just a kick guys, calm down. Remember that Vegeta SSJ2 kicked Beerus.

You should know by now that people dont wait for the episode, and make irrational assumptions before it comes out.Lord Beerus wrote:How about we be a bit rationale here and actually wait for the actual episode to air before we pass judgement.

Good thing Freeza seems to be struggling with Dyspo. Would be really stupid if they made him stomp Dyspo just to make him look cool after all the trouble Hit had with him.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Got a feeling that Vegeta is able to put up a fight against Jiren because he's using an imperfect version of Ultra Instinct.
Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
So first with this episode.
Aniraza obviously above Blue level. Considering he's able to push back the co boned force of Goku, Frieza, Vegeta, Gohan and Android 17 then it would seem the best place to put him would be in the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken range.
Perhaps he's Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken 5-10x level or something.
As for the preview....yeah that's a bit surprising, it looks like Jiren is really serious with his expressions as well and he really put his guard up to defend himself from Vegeta's Final Flash.
He beat Super Saiyan Blue Goku Kaioken x20 pretty much straight away so it seems odd they would be able to pressure him like that. Though on the other hand Super Saiyan Blue Goku did put up a reasonable effort and Jiren was concerned when he saw a Kamehameha coming his way so....

I think Aniraza is around Kaioken Blue level as well. He was way stronger than what people expected from him. As for the preview on the next episode, I think we should wait before we cast judgement on the feats there.Bullza wrote:So first with this episode.

Well to be fair, Hit didn't have much trouble in his 2nd round when both were put on an even playing field.Doctor. wrote:Good thing Freeza seems to be struggling with Dyspo. Would be really stupid if they made him stomp Dyspo just to make him look cool after all the trouble Hit had with him.

I'm sure that Freeza will turn that fight around when he goes Golden on him.Hakaishin Liquir wrote:Well to be fair, Hit didn't have much trouble in his 2nd round when both were put on an even playing field.Doctor. wrote:Good thing Freeza seems to be struggling with Dyspo. Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
There is a clear difference between the way Jiren defends Goku's punches and the way Jiren defends Vegeta's punches

Jiren shows much more difficulty with Vegeta's blows.
This may be a rage boost or an UP on his SSB power, we do not know

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
SSJB Vegeta is cleary stronger than KKx20 + SSJB Goku, I don't see the issue with it.
Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
If Vegeta can fight Jiren, then surely Gohan can too.
Now if the final two are Goku/Gohan, it would make sense for Gohan to win.

Sure if it the Gohan who got tired of his father's horrible fight against and his anger made him tap into Angel Ki.precita wrote:Now if the final two are Goku/Gohan, it would make sense for Gohan to win.

Yeah but I wasn't using that fight to judge their strengths. I was using Goku's comment from the exhibition.Doctor. wrote:By the same metric, we can also assume Vegeta wasn't going all out.The_Destroyer wrote:But who says Toppo was going all out when fightibg Vegeta?Doctor. wrote: Vegeta didn't seem to have much of a problem dealing with Toppo, though.
Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
What's strange with Vegeta is that we all just assume that he and Goku are equal.
But in the Future Trunks saga, SSJR Black beat the tar out of SSJB Goku who then went off and learned the mafuba. Meanwhile Vegeta trained in the Rosat and came out and put a stomping on SSJR Black.
So for a brief period we were all saying that Vegeta was much stronger than Goku.
Then in no time at all and for reasons we either just ignored or couldn't explain we just went back to saying that they were equal but really Vegeta should have been a lot stronger at least then he was, I dunno about now.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Ssb Goku and vegeta are equals. Not sure how anyone is claiming otherwise, but there isn't any material even remotely hinting at vegeta being >>>>Ssb Goku.
Especially not when Goku and Frieza are stated to be tied for the strongest in U7 by Toei, which means that vegeta isn't stronger than either.
Vegeta could surpass his limits next episode since that's what the preview seems to hint at, but any claims of the preview "proving" that vegeta was massively stronger than Goku the entire time despite Toei stating otherwise aren't worth addressing.
