What if Aniraza counts as 3 or 4 fighters in one, like Kefla counted as 2?
:problem: Kefla is the fusion of two characters; a single being produced as a result of fusion

Aniraza will be the fusion of four characters; Koitsukai, Panchia, Borareta, and Paparoni; a new, single entity created as a result of their combination

Ergo

One fighter
To me he's one fighter with an * because as far as we know, unless they state otherwise, he could defuse and become 4 again and we'd no longer have a top 10.

I don't think that will happen but I'm just saying
Oh, you’re absolutely on point there. They may defuse/merge, but we’ll know within a week

So, the final 10 are:
Jiren, Toppo, Dyspo, Goku, Vegeta, Freeza, Gohan, #17, Aniranza [fused robots and scientist from U3], #18
Kind of ironic how different things played out. Hit lost super early in the tournament, and Caulifa/Kale were also done away with earlier than I thought they would be, I was actually expecting them all or U6 in general to make it to the end.

As for the U7 members the last 5 remaining was pretty expected. 18 lasted far longer than anyone thought too.

I'm impressed about how #17 and #18 rocked in the ToP. I didn't expected them to shine this lot. This is great. This "unpredictability" makes me fear for Vegeta.

It's a good thing how much love the Androids got in the TOP, especially since in DBZ after the Cell arc 18 only got that short fight with Mighty Mask (Trunks/Goten) in the Buu arc and nothing really since, and 17 disappeared for like 20+ years into obscurity.

It really just goes to show if the writers actually like some characters, they'll handle them well. Same thing with Roshi doing very well. Whereas characters they don't care for, like Tien or Yamcha, they get the short end of the stick.

Hence why you get around Youtube and Forums a standarized "Toryama Handjob" becoming a popular meme.

If he`s interested, he`ll find a way to bring a character into relevancy. If not, you do the waiting chair.

I kinda feel like if Yamcha had been in the ToP, they would have treated him better than Tien, especially if Toshio wrote the episode about him. The only reason he isnt in it is because Toriyama doesnt put anything about him in the notes. Hell I think Toshio even said something along those lines on twitter.

My guess is if Yamcha was around they would have shown him and Tien team-up, similar to the Gohan/Piccolo or 17/18 pairings we've gotten. If that was the case they probably would have taken down a few characters together. Goodness knows there was a lot of fodder in this tournament that they just had Goku or Vegeta blast through that instead could have been divided up to other characters.

I was quite positive 17 was going to make the final ten. Though I doubted 18 was going to make it that far. But I'm glad she did.

She put in work, was an amazing participant for U7, multiple assist, rescues, and eliminations. As well as her elimination being a great self sacrifice to save her brother. As a huge fan of the Android/Artificial Human siblings, I'm happy with how it went down.

Anyone else at this point think that the tournament is going to go to time?

I envisage Goku & Freeza being the final two up against Jiren and time will be called just before one of them is eliminated. U7 wins 2 fighters to 1.
