But, I am being pessimistic, I think the trailer is misleading and Vegeta will get horribly stomped and ringed out.
No, not yet. He will probably contribute to Jiren's fall.

Probably with the final Flash he will hurt Jiren or at least receive some words of respect from him for the power he showed.
The final Flash seems to be for the end of the episode.

when he is charging his Final flash his armor is a little broken, and it seems that it is not like that while exchanging blows with Jiren.

But the power of the Final Flash always overcomes Vegeta's power (that is, its limits), and a great example of this is against Cell. However, this is no guarantee that it will work.
The big surprise was Vegeta managing to hit a hit on Jiren and Jiren himself pressed during the exchange of punches with Vegeta. Neither Goku Blue has been able to do this, so I think the part of overcoming the limits is related to that

Most likely. Goku overcame his limits by trying to tank his "own" Genki Dama. Maybe Vegeta after using his full power and charging Final Flash also will be able to achieve.....UI?

Vegeta will NEVER get UI down the line, because Goku will hog any opponent that's so strong it could bring out Vegeta UI. And one has to ask what would be so different then compared to now. And don't say he gets it offscreen, because that would be nonsensical to say the least.

Betting on fruits of training to have him compete with Jiren for a bit, and compete better than KKx20 Goku and Hit, but that’s it. A Bulma and family motivated powerup would be a nice touch though, but not banking on it happening. Maybe something like him completing SSB? That’s as far as I’ll go.
This is the more likely scenario. Vegeta will get some false/temporary power up, and then get beaten. In the next arc, Vegeta will then be shown capable of using Ultra Instinct with no explanation as to how he achieved it.

I would not call myself a Vegeta Fan or Follower of his canon as closely as his fans.
However, if the Following Video is being straight with his canon in Super Up to the ToP and most of all if and that is a big IF, IF Toei remembers to follow This Canon of Vegeta and not conveniently forget some of it, Vegeta may stand a better chance then Goku just in Blue form.

I prefer this because then it would be a logical growth for Vegeta instead of just a temporary, one-time anger power boost

I’m surprised no one has advocated for the most obvious answer. In all likeliness, Vegeta is going to improve through continuouslly pushing himself while fighting. No rage boost required, he’ll just improve through pushing his limits in his fight against Jiren. The same way Goku has throughout this tournament.
