What about Kefla? That was probably his most significant no assisted win since.....Frieza on Namek?
I meant in terms of the main antagonist. Kefla is the biggest win he's had in a while, but I never quite got the sense that Gokuu wouldn't win.

I really hope Gokuu loses or has an interruption when fighting Jiren. Keep stringing us and him along until the end of the series, at least.

I would preferably like to see a joint effort emerging with the fighters doing what they can to whittle down U11's seemingly unstoppable forces. No, that doesn't mean having them maybe take down the second and third fiddles only to have Goku slug it out with Jiren for 3-4 episodes on his own. I would prefer to see some inspiration taken from the climax of the Saiyan arc where everyone substantively contributed to the downfall of Vegeta.

I personally think they're building up to a Vegito and Jiren showdown. The preview for 122 doesn't mean a whole lot even if Vegeta is landing blows. We don't know how damaging they are, if Jiren is conserving energy (or if he even has to)... just too many variables to say what's happening in the next fight. Anyways... I don't think there will be a winner by knockout. I think time will elapse and it will be Vegito and Jiren still standing... but because Vegito is technically two people they win by default. I think there's a reason they keep saying how there's however long till the tournament ends and its because time will be the deciding factor at the end.

Dunno why people keep thinking Vegetto will show up when we have UI Goku. Wouldn't make any sense to fuse into Vegetto when the entire arc has been about Goku surpassing his limits.

I don't really know how I want the end of the tournament to play out. Despite people saying the ending will be obvious and U7 will win and blahblah, I don't see it being that simple, and I don't know how we even get to that point yet given UI Goku is still weaker than Jiren at the moment. Maybe something like Jiren eliminating Vegeta, then Gohan & 17 vs Dyspo (with Dyspo and 17 both being eliminated) and Freeza vs Toppo (with Toppo being eliminated). I could then see Gohan and Freeza attempting to hold Jiren off (with Gohan getting eliminated in the process) until Goku gets his rumored 2nd UI transformation.

Goku beats Jiren, and Freeza eliminates both of them in a sneak attack before winning the tournament and claiming the prize to himself.

Jiren could always destroy Vegetto's Potara before he has a chance to be too injured by the merged warrior.

As of 122:

-Vegeta and Goku will fight Jiren, Android 17 and Gohan fight Toppo, Frieza fights Dyspo
-Frieza will eliminate Dyspo, Toppo will eliminate 17, Vegeta will be incapacitated by Jiren but not eliminated.
-Gohan and Toppo continue to fight, Goku unlocks UI and teams up with Frieza against Jiren. After several episodes, possibly a "mastering" of UI (fulfilling the "Omen" in the form title), Goku succeeds in beating Jiren
-Worn out from the fight, Frieza knocks out Goku, and turns to face Gohan and Toppo and beginnings torturing the two via death beams.
-Just when all seems lost, Vegeta rises up and we get another "Vegeta-sama" moment as Vegeta knocks Frieza out
-Time runs out, Toppo and U11 are erased.
- Vegeta remains MVP, wishes back universes that were erased (possibly urged on by Goku)
- Furious, Frieza powers up only to be incapacitated by Whis and/or GP
-Realizing Goku was responsible, Toppo sets aside his hatred of Goku, but tells him he'll be watching and warns him to stay away from U11
-Everyone heads home, there's a celebration, Vegeta and Goku share another moment about how Vegetas changed.

If you can't tell I'm a bit of a Vegeta fan, and I feel it's the guys time to shine. Doubt any of this will happen since I've been wrong all arc long on my predictions, but we'll see

Because UI Goku didn't phase Jiren earlier and he can't maintain it for long - remember his physical attacks against Kefla weren't effective as Whis stated. He isn't all of a sudden going to be able to maintain UI for the length of time that would be needed to defeat a full-power Jiren and I don't believe Vegeta comes anywhere close enough to having the power to defeat him. There's even a chance that Vegito could incorporate UI somehow - perhaps the union grants them some form of knowledge on how to best utilize it. When you fuse you become one so perhaps Vegeta's mind can unlock more potential with the knowledge Goku has. Guess we will know more in 122.

I also do not see much more happening in the way of transformations throughout the rest of Super. I think they'll use attainment of the mastery of UI as the driving force behind the next arcs. For that to happen, Goku can't master it in the tournament. UI is kind of... the end transformation of sorts. Maybe it can be improved and powered up (SS version or something, though I'm not sure thats how it works), but I just think its gonna take more than this arc for him to master it.

Well I was completely wrong about my expectations. Didn't pan out that way at all, which is good really keeps it unexpected.

If I were to make more expectations as of now and with the spoilers for future episodes in mind.

- Gohan will eliminate Dyspo in the next episode.

- Toppo will eliminate Android 17 in the one after that.

- Frieza has gotta beat Toppo surely as he hasn't beaten anyone too significant. Either he'll take out Toppo and Gohan will take out Dyspo or vice versa.

- Vegeta will perform that life risking attack that will do something big but will take him out.

- And finally it will come down to either Goku teaming up with Gohan or Frieza to beat Jiren and I would still think mine like be far likely to be Frieza.

Yeah - Goku and Frieza being the last two (U7) fighters standing makes the most sense and offers the best story potential. We know that Frieza can't really be trusted and this scenario adds a (MUCH needed) unpredictability element to proceedings.

-I want the other universes to be brought back and fused with U7, we already had a dark ending on the Goku Black arc, i don't think i can handle two on a row (plus wasting all those characters would be the worse thing that super could ever do and would surely annoy the hell out of me). This is the best option, it can open a lot of stories, i mean, imagine if Freeza started breaking havoc, and had to be stopped by the Pride Troopers?, or imagine if Freeza decided to create a team of villins with evil characters from other universes, and started plotting with them. Imagine the trouble and tension that could be brought with all these gods sharing territory (freaking Champa and Beerus living together).
-If the other universes stay erased, i hope it's a temporary thing.
-Freeza gets revived and leaves Earth to carry on with whatever plan he has.
- Jiren is not surpassed. So he'll be the next step, Goku and co must take to be the strongest, first surpass the strongest mortal, then the gods (including Beerus) and finally the angels (which could never happen anyway).
-UI is not entirely mastered.
- The arc ends on a big cliffhanger (or hints something big with an actual villain) before super takes a nap.
I really miss ma boy, Black :(

Episode 124 - Gohan-kun eliminates Dispo.
Episode 125 - Top eliminates No. 17.
Episode 126 - Jiren eliminates Vegeta OR (see Episode 127).
Episode 127 - Gokū and Jiren eliminate each other OR Gokū and Vegeta eliminate Jiren as Jiren eliminates them.
Episode 128 - Gohan-kun and Freeza eliminate Top.
Episode 129 - Freeza declares that he'll eliminate Gohan and use the Super Dragon Balls to place himself at the top of existence. Gohan-kun vs. Freeza.
Episode 130 - Gohan-kun eliminates Freeza OR Freeza is about to eliminate Gohan when suddenly he disappears right before the 48 minutes run out; his Golden form used up his 24 hours super quickly. Gohan-kun makes a wish on the Super Dragon Balls, presumably to bring back all of the destroyed universes. The Tournament of Power wraps up.
Episode 131 - Dragon Ball Super (at least for now) wraps up and ties into the 28th Tenkaichi Budōkai.
Movie 16 - Vegeta travels to Universe Six to train Cabba and meet the other Saiyajin as his equivalent to Gokū leaving to train Oob.

As much as I'd like to see Vegeta's story wrap up and conclude in a similar way to Gokū's, I do find it very unlikely that Movie 16 will do that.

I'd hate to see Gohan win it. It wouldn't make sense from a story perspective (he has lasted too long already in the tournament IMO), and it was tried before (Cell Games/Pre Buu) with little success. The more believable route would be either Jiren winning or Goku/Vegeta teaming up to win.

I also don't see Uub appearing in the next arc, as it was stated he is currently too young (remember Goten and Trunks were Teens when this happened). I can see the whole Planet Salad thing coming into play as a nice mini slice of life arc.

I could see them pulling a classic Dragon Ball move here:
The time runs out with both Goku and Jiren still standing. While the Zenos and everyone else is pondering what to do, Jiren and Goku finally talk about their motivations. Then they realise that Jiren's wish can easily be fulfilles by the Earth's or Namek's dragon, so they decide to give the wish to Goku, he asks for all universes to be brought back and everyone will be happy with a whole lot of universes back to be explored later.
