Good thing I imported. I can enjoy fighting to the awesome Japanese music and not that craptastic new music from the bastards as Atari. I really hope they lose the game license.

What's sad is that wallscroll reminds me of an old pkmn poster.

The only plain background artwork released is all in the first post. If it's not there it's not out.

 Atari didn't make the music. The music is made by a Japanese composer in Japan. We don't even have evidence saying that it's not a Bandai stipulation, that they have to use him instead of anyone else or the series music. We just know he does the music.

I saw on the video that had the Funi voices that went through the menus, and when it went to the "Sound" option, and then the songs, I noticed that one of the songs was called "Survivor" Could this be the instrumental version of Super Survivor? I really hope so!
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

From what I understand, Super Survivor is the only song they left in.

Here's a new vid from Sprawlers, for Story Mode: in which Tenshinhan Quixote goes tilting at a windmill named Nappa. And dominates.

Well, it was expected that we got music that isn't the one made for the Japanese version. We can still hope for the next game, if there is still anymore coming out. Not BT4, DBZ games never goes pass two sequeal. The video was really nice, Tien kicking Nappa's ass, literally! More prove of the skills of Sprawlers.

... The soudtrack to that fight is a SNES-fest. Though if it took four kick-ass songs for the fight to end...

The Collector's Edition (with poster and art book) is also available in the UK. The regular BT3 costs £25 and the Collector's Edition costs £35 and apparently comes in a larger cardboard box, presumably like the ones that PC games used to be packaged in. I'd imagine a normal PS2 case is inside the larger box rather than just a DVD in a paper sleeve. If you live in North America and have a chipped PS2 or a boot disc, it might be worth importing the UK copy since not only do you get the book and poster, it's also released a few days earlier.

Having said that, while £35 is fairly cheap for a videogame in the UK (an Xbox 360 game usually being £50 and to put it into context, £35 is about a day's work in a very badly paid job - e.g. McDonalds - and about 2 to 3 hours work in a pretty decent one) I know that the dollar is at something like a 24 year low against the pound, so you'd be paying $70 for it (before any delivery fees, import tax or whatever you'd have to pay on top). I don't know just how bad that is but I understand that it's more than you'd usually pay in the US.

Anyway:

The poster does seem pretty crappy. It completely lacks any artistic merit; why give so much space to the logo and reduce the interesting part - the characters - to a dull, scientific looking layout?

Teclo that is version I'm buying and the shop too!. I was shocked when our realse date was brought forward.

I'm buying the WWE game as usual and they were 2 weeks apart now they are the same day. I hope inside the cardboard box is the normal game box like Buzz! games did. Only because I keep my games on a game rack I got free with gamesmaster a few years back and if it's not it wont fit

Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Sprawlers is easily one of the best Sparking players on youtube. His fights are by far the most entertaining. Most of his Tenkaichi 3 videos are less like watching someone else play a normal match and more like someone deliberately choreographing an awesome fight-scene modeled after the anime.

And his choice of music for this clip was Butouden-a-licious. :D
Damn right.

...I think at some point in that vid, Vegeta actually laughs at Nappa and mocks him for getting his ass kicked. Not sure though.

That was a kickass video. By the way, as I was watching one of the storymode battles, I continously saw the R3 button come up at the bottom, and when the player pressed it, it went into a story situation. Now, I'm wondering if you can advance through the story and unlock the proceeding level if you don't press it? It would probably give you alternate situations to the saga.

I think that "R3 button" thing at the bottom that always pops up is supposed to mean that if you press it when it is shown, you continue on in the story, but if you don't, then you create a What-If scenario. I think that's what Sprawlers did in that video. I don't remember Tien killing Nappa, and he did, so yeah. :P

@SuperSaiyan3Goku:

Right, this is what happens.
Often the "What-ifs" are just that you win and in the end your character has his cool victory sentence and that's that.

But sometimes like with Goku and Majin Vegeta, you get another enemy to fight (in this case Dabura) as a "What-if" scenario ^^

Thanks, that's what I pretty much thought.

But, here's another thing that kinda confuses me
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Y5HrCtamtoM

It's the Movie #9 storymode, and they seem to be controlling Bojack in this one. It just kinda confused me. Maybe you can choose sides this time, or something like that.

Not to be conceited, but if that guy is supposed to be good, then I must be a god. That guy didn't finish up combos, didn't mix it up, and didn't really use max power's full brutal force at all. It took way too long to kill Nappa. Maybe it's because he's playing the Wii version, but man...that was slow.

I think he wants to simulate as much of an actual DB fight as he could, i.e., Tenshinhan would not actually be spamming the Neo Kikoho.
