Yes. And anti Vegeta crusade will burst into flames when this happens.TheSaiyanGod wrote:Well, about Jiren's Power Impact on EP 122
We saw that most of the warriors who received this attack were either unconscious or were eliminated (Kale was knocked out, Hitto was eliminated).

Vegeta will not be eliminated and will still fight Jiren on EP 123, so will he be the first to resist the attack and stand in the arena?
Goku received a similar attack on EP 109, and he needed the Kaioken to hold onto the edge of the arena

Vegeta still has "cool" episode that will air during the tournament. Once we get staff lists on episode 125 and 126 , we will know when

Yeah, keep going with that cool vegeta episode you are waiting for. Just remember that his "cool" moment might be different that what you are picturing it to be.ToshioWrites wrote:Vegeta still has "cool" episode that will air during the tournament. Just '' hype '' does not mean anything.Kaiosama wrote:Not meaning to pile on, but Vegeta doesn't deserve to do anything important in this arc. There's been no build-up for him and the narrative is clearing pointing towards a UI Goku vs Jiren rematch. This is Goku's tournament and Goku's show. Vegeta fans should be grateful the writers even kept him in after 122 to be honest, because he's pretty much worthless against Jiren if Hit and KKx20 Goku couldn't do anything. Gohan and Frieza are much more interesting... but as indicated by spoilers, Gohan is going to make a dumb decision and probably get himself eliminated. Frieza is going to have to clean up his mess.TheSaiyanGod wrote:If you are uncomfortable and will not add anything to the discussion, do not respond.IndieBooToo wrote:
Didn't know Vegeta fans were getting this desperate lol.
But I do not blame you, as a blind Goku fan, you must have been irritated by my questioning that even makes sense (considering that you hate Vegeta)
Since the beginning of this saga, Gohan has received a lot of hype (several fans thought that ToP would be like the Saga Cell for that), and even then he made several mistakes in the tournament and is not having so much prominence.
Kuririn was remembered by Goku and Gohan (even faced Basil in a mental battle), had an entire episode dedicated to him in the recruitment (with new techniques, overcoming fears), but was eliminated quickly.
So even though Vegeta has not received so much hype, it does not mean he can not stay until the end.
Of course, it is very difficult for him to reach UI or defeat Jiren, but at least he can keep his promise to Kyabe and somehow get the Super Dragon Balls (this is something that has been emphasized several times in this saga).

Well a writer said it and people who think he can be cool on the bench are more delusional than those who think it will happen in the tournament but you do youKenneth La Torre wrote:Yeah, keep going with that cool vegeta episode you are waiting for. Toshio just said his next episode will be "far off in the future", so maybe it won't even be a tournament episode. For all we know that "cool Vegeta" moment could even had happened already.ToshioWrites wrote:Well a writer said it and people who think he can be cool on the bench are more delusional than those who think it will happen in the tournament but you do youKenneth La Torre wrote:Yeah, keep going with that cool vegeta episode you are waiting for. He never said anything like that. He just tweeted he got done writing a cool vegeta episode. He wrote in september. Episodes generally air 4 months after being written, counting in breaks and it could be around february when it airs. Nobody is saying vegeta will beat jiren or anything but he's not gonna go out like some total chump like half the people in here think.Araki wrote:Toshio just said his next episode will be "far off in the future", so maybe it won't even be a tournament episode. It has to happen at some point in the Tournament. At least a small glimpse of interactions between the two. I just can't see both of them with contrasting morals not interact at any point.ToshioWrites wrote:I wanted that fight from the start but if the spoilers about Toppo are true then i'm not sureFreeza9000 wrote:I went from wanting a Freeza v. Crazy way for the arc to end; have Freeza be the last member standing, but make his wish be for all the erased universes to be revived. In doing so, he forces all the G.o.Ds and Kais along with the residents of the universes to feel they "owe" him, possibly playing into how Freeza wanted to manipulate the Gods and in the process it could also accidentally include the previously erased universes from when there were eighteen instead of twelve.
Nobody would really expect Freeza to wish to revive everyone erased, thus setting up an interesting story down the road between the other universes and Freeza (not to even mention the four exempt universes).

That's a pretty good idea. I mean he says he wants to manipulate the gods, but what gods will there be to manipulate post ToP? Just Beerus - who hates him - and 4 other GoDs who have nothing to worry about.potat_lasaro wrote:Crazy way for the arc to end; have Freeza be the last member standing, but make his wish be for all the erased universes to be revived. I get it,not a deus ex machina instead it is a ridicolous plot device that is used to get out of seemingly hopeless situations just like a deus ex machina.HeroR wrote:Plot hole is not a character not doing something. Goku and Vegeta don’t fused because they hate it.Hawk9211 wrote:It causes unnecessary power creep and plot holes(like why don't they fuse?)darzap wrote:
There are 4-5 types of fusion, the first of which has been used in the Namek Saga (before we've seen the first Super Saiyan) and all but one of them have already been used in/for the ToP. How is it that a deus ex machina?
Piccolo who is in low thousands gets in million range.
Two brats which are individually weaker than piccolo become stronger than antagonist which was dozens of time stronger than if not hundreds time stronger.
Then, vegata and goku become more powerful than the antagonist who again if not hundred times but still is dozens of times powerful becomes fodder to fusion.Same with merged zamasu.
Fusion also isn’t a deus ex anything since it is a known, not something out of nowhere.
Why power levels are important?

That is a very interesting idea, actually. Frieza has his stupid moments and I'm not sure he knows a God has to speak the wish for him, but surely even he is smart enough to realize that if he tries to make an overt power play in front of the ruler of the multiverse, he's getting a one-way ticket to Hakai Town and nobody there will care enough to ever bring him back.potat_lasaro wrote:Crazy way for the arc to end; have Freeza be the last member standing, but make his wish be for all the erased universes to be revived. Plus in this arc he's been big on blackmail and being "helpful." He offered to defect to Universe 9, he helped Gohan, and he's helped Goku out a couple times here and there, and the Goku one is the most revealing because he expects Goku to pay him back for his 'charity.'

This would be a good way to revive the universes without feeling cheap. I like it.BlueBasilisk wrote:That is a very interesting idea, actually. Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
