Something funny my brother said about GT

Earlier today, i was watching the GT box trailer on my Yu Yu Hakusho First Strike DVD. My little brother said " If i were one of the producers of Dragonball GT, i would have killed myself. It was just that bad". Mind you the kid is 11. Just though i would share that with the community.

Aw, it wasn't THAT bad.

If I were one of the producers of GT, I'd probably slap the other producers upside the head and say, "WTF you doin' you foo's?!"

No offense or anything but did this warrant a topic? What are we supposed to discuss, your brother being hilariously unique in his opinion? I mean I hear the same crap from my friends little brother every day. Sorry to sound harsh but I don't see the point to this topic.

Well, I'm assuming that the trailer was for the dub version, right?
Because while GT was never exactly a great series, it wasn't that bad. But with the dub, Mark Menza's music makes it a LOT worse...

I actually like GT , Sure it had it's faults but I like it. :P

The only part of the dragonball series I hate is the "garlic jr saga"

Man your brother has a very... pessimistic view on life. But GT wasn't that bad, just very bad to every other character who isn't Goku or Vegeta.

It was bad to Vegeta. I liked GT , Vegeta is my favourite character but it was bad for him for the following :

Not enough screen time
Lost his trade mark hair
The moustache
Needing Bulma's help to go SSJ4
The moustache
been made useless unless fused
The moustache
Actually wanting to do the fusion dance
Did I mention The moustache?

^Its funny because Raki's brother is 11 :D


I honestly think GT was an okay series, I loved the ending. The only part I hate(Oh, how I hate it. :x ) was the Cell/Furiza fight. Goku didn't even have to go super saiyan....I'm 100% sure it would be a little harder than what it was, especially since Goku was a little kid again.

GT does suck, and his little brother is correct in what he said. :)

Even Goku and Vegeta were shit on in GT; Vegeta for the reasons stated already, and Goku because he was turned into a kid again for no reason, and to make it worse, the wish was never actually reversed.

Yeah but he was a kid with the same power as when he was adult going SSJ-SSJ 3 (since 4 was not learnt as an adult). It's not too unreasonable to think his base form would be a lot stronger as he trained it more with Uub.


I know I'm trying to explain GT but most of the plot holes I overlook thinking there could be a reason.

Everyone thinks they can make a better series than GT...when their ideas often include recycling villains, and unlike GT, actually using old villains like Broly and whatnot. Often fanfics suck.
