Why are they hyping this ep up so much? Besides animation, it just seems like a standard episode. We know Vegeta doesn't get eliminated in it either so not much story-wise will happen.

Because we're about to get into the real meat & potatoes of this arc, or the meat at the very least.

It's not a standard episode, girl. It's the beginning of the final battle between the two remaining universes, no fodders anymore, only the best. That's why people are expecting a lot from it.

Hell no. In fact, I'd rather have episodes daily that are just still images or stick figure animation.

I'd love that cause not only would the production improve but so will the writing. It won't be as good as this week'scause those 2 don't work on everyone but they'll be a huge improvement over what we have.

I'm probably the outlier with this thought but I wish Vegeta would try something that's more akin to his underhandedness against Zarbon. Something creative involving his Shine Shot technique or the replicated Kienzan would make for an interesting change of pace. It's obviously not as much of a spectacle as Final Flash or whatever but I feel like it would help portray Vegeta in a more compulsively resourceful and unpredictable light. Leaving Jiren with a long-term injury that poses as a detriment in his upcoming rematch with Goku does seem like one of the best outcomes Vegeta could have in this tournament, especially if it proves integral in his teammate winning.

If anyone's expecting him to win then of course they'll be upset but most of his fans just want to see him hold his own against him for a bit which is what we saw in the preview and images.

He did little to nothing against Beerus in BOG but most were happy just to see him hold his own against someone that strong so that's what we want here.
