A lot of Goku’s behavior as a father in the manga goes into asshole areas and not just neglectful.

I've always get the impression that Goku is doubtful of Gohan instead of hating him, mind explaining.

Pretty sure Krillin was just excited he could show off his strong hot wife to Frieza.

I'm sure he happy that Goku pound Frieza in hell .

Him saying he wasn’t there when Gohan and Goten were born, and doesn’t seem to know when Gohan was born or even there for his birth since he didn’t know how babies were born. Not helped that he treats not knowing as a positive since he says ‘look at me’. In the anime for comparison, he only claimed to have missed Goten’s birth since he was dead and he said it matter-of-fact.

Giving a better introduction to the universes and characters can't hurt so why not. It'll mean taking longer to get to the main event but in the long run when it's over I think it'll result in a better story.

He still draws each chapter on a month to month basis. He was on twitter a while ago saying he's procrastinating having to finish this month's chapter. He's ahead as in he designs characters and such for the anime, and talks about the outline with Toriyama, but he doesn't have complete chapters sitting there ready to be published months in advance

As for the leak,i will wait if he will show Gohan ultimate if not i will be shocked if all the buildup of Gohan was just from the staff,i would have liked if he started the Top in March.

Also those Manga is better than anime comments are pretty annoying at this point,can we please not turn this thread in to non stop bashing or a flame war.

It’s rooting for your favorite team mentality. I like the anime far more than the manga and think the manga version of the Future Trunks Saga is terrible outside of a few high points, but I try to give credit where credit is due. Toyo overall has been doing a good job so far, outside of making Goku an absolute shitty father.

Toyo is a fan afterall and thats what most fans have been singing for years long before super and why you may like the anime more, the manga is far far less polarizing to the point where even super's biggest critic says the manga is ok while the anime is generally bad.

Why would he switch his clothes in the middle of the arena? It's not like he brought some extra clothes with him.

Between Piccolo, Kaioshin and Whis, who all can conjure clothes out of thin air, it's not like it wouldn't take more than a panel to show him change up.

But that’s actually why this is so infuriating. The combined efforts would have created a fantastic show and its more infuriating because we know they are both working from the same outline yet produced different results.

I'm very intrigued by the two different takes on it and find the mystery of figuring out the creative process between the 3 T's even more fascinating, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see a perfected version of the show using both the manga and the anime as a reference. If they could properly develop the first two arcs of Super as well and they'd 100% have an anime that cracks my top 5. It's tough to beat my top 2 but this dream collab would have a shot.

One thing I can say is that this is actually going to feel like 40 hours before the tournament. Any “training” scenes they have couldn’t be too extensive give. The content that seems to be covered.
