Herms posted a summary of the chapter: https://twitter.com/Herms98/status/953803343817728000
Caulifla doesn't go Super Saiyan in the chapter but apparently she learns how quite easily compared to everyone else. Kale seems to be either really fast or really sneaky. Sounds like all the Goku/Frieza negotiation happens off-page.
Also the King of Sadala is named King Sadala. What an absolutely shocking revelation.
Oops, wrong link. Corrected.

Mmm Vegeta's father was named King Vegeta who was rulling Planet Vegeta.
So the King's son must be named Sadala as well,Prince Sadala.
But the real burning question is.............
Does King Sadala has a windows peak like Vegeta or the fabulous beard King Vegeta had?
Someone should ask Toriyama in an interview or at the least i hope the new movie adresses that.
I wanted it to be a special post but I wasn't sure I'd get the start of 1000 so the next best thing was the end of 999.
It looks like Caulifla won'treach Ssj like she did in the anime which means it might take her more effort then just getting a "tingly" back. Whoever came up with that at Toei needs to be fired. I wonder if Toyotarou can do the unthinkable and make her likable.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Sounds like she got it offscreen, like I knew she would because thats how Toriyama did it back then.

According to Herms, she does.
Meanwhile, Cabba flies off in his spaceship with Caulifla and Kale; Caulifla has apparently gotten the hang of Super Saiyan and found it surprisingly easy.
I've been so used to thinking of the king of Planet Sadala as being named King Sadala (ala King Vegeta of Planet Vegeta) I kind of forgot it wasn't official yet. Nice to see it is.
It'd be even nicer if my other theories were close to being true regarding him too, but I guess that'll have to continue to wait.
Saw some of the spoilers and will say that I like how Kale and Caulifla are introduced here over the anime. Doesn't seem like any of the other universes show up in this chapter which is a tad disappointing. While I never had an issue with how Caulifla went Super saiyan in the anime do people like this version any better?

Here is the thing. The only super saiyan transformation ever shown in the original was Goku's, the rest were shown offscreen.

You are right about that and I for one would have preferred to see the others go super saiyan on screen but that's just me. Guess that's why I like how Caulifla went super saiyan in the anime, but I'm probably one of the few who liked it when it comes to that and I guess many will prefer the manga version.

You're wrong. The planet Sadala also existed in U7.

In other words, in the total manga we only saw two: Goku and Cabba.
I don't like what I see regarding Frieza so far. Not only does it look like they cut out almost all his material from 93-95, but it seems like he's being rewritten into being a coerced participant in the tournament and is being an even bigger bitch about it than the Universe 7 team, if the manga rendition of the friendship circle is any indication. He appears to have lost the magnificent bastardry that makes his inclusion in this arc worth it and actually gave him some character development.

Yes because imo, it wasn't special anymore and Toriyama knew that hence why I guessed Toyo would do the same.

I agree. That stuff was setup for Frieza's role in the ToP and his potential motivations later on.
It seems that we will have flashbacks of RoF in this chapter, which is interesting, since in both the promotional manga of the film and in the DBS manga, this story was not '' finished ''

I wanted to see how he and Goku got so busted up. In the anime their fight ultimately amounted to a full-power cross counter.
I can't help but feel that this chapter sounds quite rushed going by the summary.
Spoiler:
Akira Toriyama wrote:My policy is to try and forget things once they’re over. Since if I don’t discard the old and focus on what’s new, I’ll overload my brain capacity. I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.
Akira Toriyama wrote:Drawing Dragon Ball again reminded me of two things--how much I love it, and how much I never want to do it again.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.
