I'm just going to say they way the manga is going, fans should probably be grateful Toei threw you guys a bone. if any of the humans make pass the first chapter of the tournament, I will be deeply shocked.

I'm going to be deeply shocked if anyone besides Goku accomplishes anything of note. Vegeta might but it'll be backhanded and with an accompanying "yeah well Goku did this and better too!"
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
Chapter showed Toei love Gohan and maybe Roshi too(explains why he trashed Tenshinhan) and gave him 2 focus episodes and a better performance than Piccolo.
Another thing is the whole Yuri thing with Caulifla and Kale was also Toei stuff, why did they do it? I mean it was fine with Vikal and Kakunza because they were making fun of Shoujo.

Vegeta has been handled really well in the manga so I doubt it'll be like that but I do hope the others get good screen (or page) time as that's one good thing the anime did but...I guess we'll see.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
I'm more of an anime guy, but i can't deny the manga has his pros too and you have to respect the success it achieved for something that started as a promotion.

The preview, I think, doesn't specify anyone other than 17 because they want us to have some doubt over the outcome as well as teasing an elimination. I'm guessing Jiren, Goku and Vegeta will keep going. It could be Gohan. It could be Freeza. But Dyspo, most certainly will.
I hope is Gohan because I'm dying to see a 17/Golden Freeza team against Toppo. Also, I just don't like Gohan that much.

Will Toppo really reach the level of a GoD? From what the synopsis says, it does not seem that this is his own power, since something "strange" happens to his body.
If Toppo reaches that level, then no one will be able to defeat him. Maybe Vegeta really needs to leave his fight against Jiren to have his rematch against Toppo and so the title of EP 126 is '' even surpass a God. ''
If this is truly Gohan's "last stand"
I just want to say thanks kid you made this old fan proud son
Spoiler:
I love selfish Goku. it's his most endearing trait. without it dragon ball wouldn't have lasted this long. even though I hated Goku when I was a kid mostly for all the stupid shit he did. he have grown on me because I understand him now. Goku is a pure blooded saiyan; a race of battle hungry warriors. only thing that makes Goku feel alive is death matches with people who are stronger than him. that's why he wanted the no killing rule removed from u6 vs u7 tournament; that is why he wanted to spare freeza again; that's why he's so bored after almost being killed by black and zamasu. Goku is a fighting junkie who would put universes on the line if it meant he'd have amazing battles. he loves this shit and so do I. what makes him awesome is his fight boner don't castrate Goku

All God of Destruction's have a skinny frame, perhaps that is what happens to Toppo?
