If you ever had the chance to meet Akira Toriyama...
... would you dare to ask him a question regarding one of Dragonball's frequently debated aspects, like "Which Buu was the strongest?" or "was Gohan stronger then SSJ3 Goku after his power unlock, or wasn't he?" or a question along those lines.
This assumes you have a magical translator or something, or your own personal interpreter, or that simply he could "magically" speak English or whatever, just use your imagination.
Me? I really couldn't see myself doing that. It'd be so embarrassing, and also, it would be like pissing on Dragonball in a way. Sort of like indirectly saying "Your story has this big hole in it, please fill it in now."
I mean, I somehow doubt that Akira Toriyama put that much deep thought into things, especially as late as the Buu saga. I would feel as though I were insulting him somehow if I asked him to answer one of these legendary "fan debates" for us.
I would much rather pick his brain about my favorite character, Freeza, seeing if he would tell me some insightful things about how he came up with Freeza and designed his appearance and what not, or if he had ever envisioned a back story for him or something.
I'd just be far too ashamed to ask him for answers to heatedly debated subjects, partly because there probably is no answer to half the stuff fans debate about anyway. Would anyone here dare to ask him questions like that, though, just so you could see who was right and who was wrong?

Why did you miss that ground ball in game 6 of the 1986 World Series?

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I'd get him to autograph Twilight Princess.

He (Gohan) is weaker. He has the fighting spirit of a wet noodle soaked in water until it barely resembles a noodle. A pebble is tougher than Gohan, because you could conceivably trip on a rock and stub your toe, while Gohan would yield like so much melted pudding. Vanilla pudding. Because he's too pansy-ass to have a strong flavor if he was pudding. Pure water has more flavor than hypothetical Gohan-pudding.

Hmm... If I met Akira Toriyama... Probably just stare and gawk at him in surprised and shock, and if I ever got over that, probably asked him for an autograph or what SSJ stage did he enjoy drawing up the most. (Got a million thing to ask, but this would be the best question I guess.)
I feel sorry for Future Gohan.
Everyone's like, "What?! What are you doing with two arms?! You tear that off right now, mister!"
Poor guy.
Lol'ed.

I'd get him to autograph my wallscroll, the one with everyone on it.
As for pointing out plot holes, it's been my experiece that writers appreciate that so they'll know what to avoid next time, and maybe they can talk to someone about fixing it. That's how Marv Wolfman reacted when I pointed out a few in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS.
I wouldn't be able to resist asking, "OK, so just how do Evil Buu and Kid Buu differ from each other?"

Trunks & Goten forever
I would have given him a firm handshake, thank him for his works and for their effect on the new generation mangaka, and wish him luck in the future.
I think that Dragonball is perfect, because of that it leaves room for your own imagination.
If it was perfect, we would'nt be on this forum discussing things, right?

No, I wouldn't, he said himself he had kinda forgotten about Dragon Ball.FindKenshi wrote:... would you dare to ask him a question regarding one of Dragonball's frequently debated aspects, like "Which Buu was the strongest?" or "was Gohan stronger then SSJ3 Goku after his power unlock, or wasn't he?" or a question along those lines.

In all honesty, if I met him, I'd just try to act casual, and not like a nerdy fanboy, which, true enough I am.
I may ask one question or two, but only if Dragonball somehow got brought up.

I would probably not recognize him immediatly. And then, I would ask him if he isn't tired of everyone bugging him about Dragonball.

What did he do in that game?Carrie wrote:I'd get him to autograph Twilight Princess.

(If he did something, tell me please!)
I'd congratulate him on his success, and tell him how much he inspired me. I'd then ask him to autograph something Toriyama related...like his shoe or something(The chances of me carrying manga at this chance meeting are slim) I'd resist the urge to ask something dragonball related, though...at the risk of looking like a weirdo fanboy.

Then, I'd have one of you guys kneel behind him, while I give him a nice, sturdy, shove into a giant burlap bag. Where he will be taken to my fortress and forced to write/draw Dragonball AF!

Maybe then I'd bug him about an english release of Kajika, or more Sandland.

I couldn't say for sure, but if I met Toriyama, it'd probably end up involving ether and my basement.
