The Energy batteries things sounds like 17 losing a lot of his power in a definitive way, maybe, If leaks are true, he'll be more of a normal human and no more a warrior? He could lose most of his battle power, basically dropping to Yamcha or Krillin level, him dying is unlikely, though after this tournament he'll return to be no one in the shadows for aure imo, so a sacrifice would be awesome

The Jiren fight is starting to drag for me, especially since you know nothing will change till Goku uses Ultra Instinct again. Seeing Blue Goku and Vegeta fight Jiren with no changes is already getting dull.

So do people still think that Vegeta will fight Toppo in 126? Based off the recent title spoiler for 127 it seems like 17 is still in. So unless Freeza gets eliminated next episode and 17 is in dire straits I don't see why Vegeta would stop fighting Jiren to go and fight Toppo. I mean the only way I could see it happening is Goku telling Vegeta to help Freeza and 17 out but even then I don't think thats very likely.

From what I've been able to find, バリア can refer to things like 17's barrier but also obstacles or barricades of other kinds so I think it would be premature to jump to any kinds of conclusions until we get more about the episode. Remember that whole 'disqualified' debacle?

At this point I've taken a lot of the spoilers with a grain of salt since most of the times they don't seem to be very accurate. The one that stuck out to me the most was the 118 spoiler mentioning Freeza fighting the remainder of U2 and being angry at Goku for knocking them out, and yet that never happened in the episode. My inner 17 fanboy hopes that 127 is referring to 17 but I won't be shocked if it isn't.

Not to mention that if the title of EP 127 is referring to 17, then this does not mean that it will face Toppo alone. Anyway, he would need help to execute a plan against someone like Toppo, and Vegeta could fight

What makes you think this? I strongly dislike Vegeta, but we have no evidence of the limitations of Vegeta's new form yet. We just know that it will likely be weaker than Goku's final UI transformation for this arc.
