Vegeta vs Hit rematch - who would win now?
Considering Vegeta has got a huge power boost, I think he might have a chance against Hit.

Hit also revealed a new techniques which aren't exactly as easy to predict or Dodge..
Hit takes it even with Vegeta's latest boost..

Hit unless Vegeta can move in a time cage.

To be fair the time cage seemed like it required a lot of ki to maintain, and Jiren overpowered it just by taxing Hit's ki reserves to the max. Vegeta could potentially do the same.Amir wrote:Hit unless Vegeta can move in a time cage.

I think you are overestimating Hit and underestimating Vegeta at the same time dude.Ki Breaker wrote:Hit also revealed a new techniques which aren't exactly as easy to predict or Dodge..

That's pure headcanon. The show said Jiren's power was above time and that's why he was able to move and break through it. Jiren literally crushed the attack.Polyphase Avatron wrote:To be fair the time cage seemed like it required a lot of ki to maintain, and Jiren overpowered it just by taxing Hit's ki reserves to the max. Vegeta. Hands down! In fact, Vegeta at this stage would utterly DESTROY Hit. He doesn’t even need his Ascended Super Saiyan Blue Form for it, as regular Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta did plenty impressive enough against Jiren. While Hit, even WITH Time Skip, couldn’t even hit him once, except for that special fool trick he did where he managed to hit him once.
Vegeta takes this.
Vegeta takes this.

I'm pretty sure Jiren has no special power that let him break out of it, he just overpowered it with his ki.Amir wrote:That's pure headcanon. This is so one-sided sadly.
Anyway, I hope Vegeta will get a rematch in the manga.

Pretty much a rematch of the U6 tournament fight with Hit now being on the end of a one-sided beat down.
Re: Vegeta vs Hit rematch - who would win now?
Power or not, Hit's Dim Mak is going to present some very serious issues here. What cripples the assassin in these tournaments is his lack of authorisation to kill. His fighting skills are effectively being neutered and he can't play to his strengths. Take away those restraints, though, and it's a different story. If Shunken Ensatsu hits then it's game over for Vegeta. No matter how strong you are, you can't overpower something that crushes your heart or disrupts its rhythm. You would have to do something like what Goku just barely managed to accomplish before going down and that's defibrilate yourself -- even if you do so, defibrillation can come with its own share of risks like blood clots and injury to the heart itself.

Two points I want to make :
1. Yeah, no matter how strong you are, but I think it's safe to assume that Vegeta not only has gained strength but also speed so he could avoid/dodge Shunken Ensatsu. Not to mention we've got some glimpses of UI in Vegeta's case.
2. IMO, Hit TRIED to kill Jiren off. He knew he would lose to him anyway and got eliminated so did he have anything to lose? I doubt it.

Re: Vegeta vs Hit rematch - who would win now?
Vegeta Blue from 122 seems not far from Hit.
And it was before his new form that is probably 20X times stronger.
We know that Vegeta Blue alone is stronger than Gohan + C17 because he was far better against Toppo and he wasn't at 100% if we take 122.
So it's most likely this :
SS Ultra Blue >>>> Hit 100%>SS BLUE 100%> SS BLUE restrained (against Toppo).
If we give somes numbers to TOP fighters, it will be something like this :
Vegeta Ultra Blue 20
Hit Max 2
Vegeta SSBLUE 100% 1,5
Vegeta Blue restrained 1,20
Toppo restrained 1,20
C17 0,4
Gohan Ultimate 0,3
And it was before his new form that is probably 20X times stronger.

Re: Vegeta vs Hit rematch - who would win now?
In EP 72, Goku SSB managed to tie with Hitto (who was using all his techniques, except the time cage). So, Vegeta more than 20 times stronger than this Goku, would surely be able to override all of Hitto's techniques, and Time Cage would only work if Hitto could keep up with Vegeta's speed, something that would hardly happen (just remembering that in the fight between Hitto and Jiren, basically just Hitto who took the initiative, and if Jiren attacked first, Hitto probably would not be able to follow Jiren).
Then vegeta certainly is now far superior to Hitto
Then vegeta certainly is now far superior to Hitto
In EP 72, Goku was able to easily counter the "invisible Ki" sphere that killed him on EP 71 (Goku did this with ordinary Ki Blasts). So it only takes knowledge to dodge this technique, and with Vegeta's speed, it would not be too difficultLionel wrote:Power or not, Hit's Dim Mak is going to present some very serious issues here. Re: Vegeta vs Hit rematch - who would win now?
I think if both of them were fresh, at peak performance, itd go to Vegeta with some difficulty. I think it'd take some time for him to figure out Hits tactics, but if he can he'd stomp him pretty good.
Also would need to take into consideration whether or not Hit would be allowed to kill. If he can't then he's being held back but could pull some tricks like the time cage and what not.
So basically, if Vegeta can figure Hits techniques out, he's got it.

Re: Vegeta vs Hit rematch - who would win now?
Hit seems to oftentimes forget about his hand-to-hand fist. The principals behind Dim Mak not only entail death or unconsciousness but also neuropathic blockage which can deaden the sensitivity of limbs and even impact the nervous system as a whole. For instance, it would only take one successful strike to the peroneal and femoral nerves each to cause Vegeta's legs to lose their functionality for a bit. If Hit were to take it a step further by striking the sciatic nerves in the lower waist region of Vegeta's body then the Saiyan would begin to suffer from severe respiratory trauma. So while the Shunken Ensatsu does offer a good long-ranged means for attack Vegeta's meridial system, it's far from being the only means to which Hit is able to cripple him, provided he has the good sense to take advantage of what the mechanics of his martial arts style would encompass.

If KKx20 Goku can beat Hit now, so can Vegeta.

Please consider something like the Super-specific "Strength Discussion Thread" and/or the in-universe section's "All-Purpose 'Versus' Thread" for these types of one-off, theoretical "versus" discussions.
