When you get right to it, Sean is an employee. If his boss says he wants to do something a certain way he has to follow. I’m sure they get some artistic freedom. He’s allowed to do whatever he wants with it. Unless you think you could do better? Some of us have no problem with how he portrays Goku. It’s the extremists who do.
So I'm an extremist for having problems with a performance in a dub of an anime TV series that makes no sense with the way they perceive the characterization? Ok, buddy, k. I should probably mention that I'll wait to see how it sounds for myself when the episodes air to really judge it, but the whole thing just seems sketchy to me. I mean, I like a good British accent, but only if it makes sense, like that Freddie Mercury lookalike in Z.
I should also point out the contradiction in your statement there. First you say that they probably have some artistic freedom, but has to defer to his bosses, but then you say he's allowed to do what he wants. Which did you mean?
And, yeah, I probably could, considering I know what the role needs. I've analyzed this thing myself, or did you not read the last several posts I've made n this subject o this exact forum. Considering this is the first post I'm seeing from you on this subject at the very least, I doubt it.
