How would you feel if Super ends with a cliffhanger ?

Unless they're positively sure that they're making a new series in one or two years, I don't see them ending with a cliffhanger.

On the other hand, if there's no cliffhanger, Super will have the shortest and most abrupt ending, considering that they have 1-2 episodes to wrap things up after the ToP.

I'd LOVE to see Frieza win, but I doubt that Toei has the balls to pull it off. It's a kids show. Kids' shows do not end with the bad guys winning.

Unless Freeza wishes everyone back(so he can gain influence among the gods, not because he's a good guy) and then he's wished back to life and leaves everyone for the time being, a bit like how the 23rd Tournament ended.

Super is ending, so no cliffhangers. DB never did cliffhangers anyways. They will wrap it up, even if they need to force it. Since this is the end of Super. No hitaus or break or whatever. ToP is the final arc of super.

Looking what we have left, we currently have 6 episodes remaining. With the ToP taking a minute per episode, unless we suddenly get a jump ahead and 2 or more minutes pass, it would appear that the 4 episodes in February and the first week of March will be the conclusion of the tournament, with EP 131 serving as our conclusion in some form.

I personally feel that "Super losing its time slot with no plans of new episodes at the present time" means that it is likely going to be a "break" in that Super could possibly end with a new series picking up, or EP 131 will act as more of a season finale of sorts.

In fact, I would be pretty livid if it ends on a cliffhanger. They can make another show as a continuation if they want but there should be an actual ending to this one.

Pretty sure in the announcement of Super ending it wrote that the 'Super' part of Db is ending, however DB itself isnt ending, it will be continued. Aka in movies, new series, games etc.

Hence why I am 100% sure the Super part of DB is done with. We will get a new renamed series in a few years tho, or a series of movies. Perhaps a continuation of Super but with a new name, or passed EoZ. Tho even if it is passed EoZ one can still say it is a continuation of Super, if Super ends with EoZ.

Dragon Ball ended with Goku going off and marrying Chi-Chi and it was all happy, with the underlying knowledge that Piccolo was still out there and one day a rematch would happen, we just may never see it

Dragon Ball Z ended with Goku going off to train a new apprentice, presumably now with the underlying notion of another Tournament of Power one day (though can't say for certain until the end of March)

Dragon Ball GT ended with Goku going off with Shenron for some special kind of training and dying in a new sort of way (Kozo Morishita's interview from 2005 stated this was what happened), whilst taking the Dragon Ball's with him.

Dragon Ball Super should end with no cliffhanger, but a definite finalé that hints at what's to come: EoZ Tournament, GT adventures, etc.

Might even get a trailer for the Yamoshii film

I'd be mad as hell. There's so many ways they could end this Tournament at least. That'd be all types of disrespectful. The fans have so many unanswered questions. The least the staff could do if they're not gonna answer them is give us a conclusion to the tournament.

They said they still haven’t figured out what they’re doing with Super now that it’s time slot has been replaced, but said that “it’s not like it’s going anywhere”. It would make more sense for the series to go on hiatus than to be cancelled because of this new movie.

The original Dragon Ball anime would have ended the same way if Toei hadn't made the wedding dress mini-arc to tack on after. Piccolo is beaten, Goku and Chi Chi fly off, roll credits. Toriyama does a lot of abrupt endings.
