So this "Chaos" in one page is better than the anime? Didn't the anime start off just like this in episode 97? With the exception of the Kamikaze Fireballs.

Wait, are the eliminations going to be much different in the manga than the anime? I assumed they would be pretty much the same, just a lot of the fodder knocked out off-screen because there's no time to show everything.

If we start having things like 18 losing to Rbrianne, or Gohan taking out Jimeze instead of Freeza....this might as well be a completely different story.

They are already setting up 18 fighting Ribrianne, so she will job soon.

Jimeze role could go to someone else(like Obuni maybe?).

I don't think 18 will lose to Ribrianne but we'll see. A fight between the two will definitely happen that's for sure.

Not exactly, the anime's biggest problem was every team just standing around waiting in line to fight U7
While here it looks like U7 jumped into other people's fights and started kicking ass

Though if Freeza's plan is to stay as fresh as possible so he can kill off Goku, he shouldn't pick a fight with them. He can take Caulifla but Kale would require effort

I'm sure the outline says "Caulifla gets beat up which forces Kale to unlock SSJ", Freeza torturing Freeza works much better than the Pride Troopers doing it imo.

Freeza wouldn't fight kale . Even thought he could beat her, it would take more stamina than he would want to expend. Caulifla on the other hand would be chopped liver to him. I'd still like to see that rather than the jealousy induced broly homage of episode 100

Yup people are exaggerating again, is better off to wait the damn thing.

My main problem with 97 it was the weak direction, let's see if Toyo come up with better transition and better action also i don't want to see cheap background explosion like in 97-98,thanks god the Anime dropped that.

I hope the eliminations are more distributed in the manga. In the anime, U7 had more eliminations the other seven universes combined! I get they're the main characters but come on the only way that could work in a battle royale is if most contestants are standing around waiting for their turn to fight U7.

This remind me of U9 for some reason did the chapter ended like that,this is could be the manga excuse of having Jiren hate Goku,we will see how this turn out.

If Goku eliminates all of the Pride Troopers apart from Dyspo, Toppo and Jiren stood by and did nothing to prevent it... I have to question his character. Just like I did in the anime.
