If you collect Dragonball figures like I do, these little abominations just tend to fall right into your hands from time to time... I only buy them purposely if they are truly outstanding freaks of nature... Like this one:

Behold, the worlds most hideous kid trunks figure ever... And quite possibly the largest as well!
All the best,

I swear, the Pink Dragon Ball looks like a Black Star Dragon Ball.
That Trunks-figure-freak-thing has got to be the ugliest Trunks figure ever.

Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Let's play a game - Spot the fakes and the authentics!
The figures are from various sets I have collected over the years, some fake, some not. Some of the differences are fairly straightforward - some aren't. Anyone who gets them all right gets... a star!

Just my random guesses, based on which ones looked fake.
That Ultimate Gohan looks neat.Oldphan wrote:If you collect Dragonball figures like I do, these little abominations just tend to fall right into your hands from time to time... I only buy them purposely if they are truly outstanding freaks of nature... Like this one:

The fakes are : The Super Saiyan 3, The Super Saiyan 4 and the fat Super Saiyan on the second from left. So you got two right.Vegard Aune wrote: Goku: The ones on the edges, and the Super Saiyan 3-one.
The authentic ones are the one with the brown hair and the crouched Super Saiyan Vegeta on the left. The other three are fake.Vegard Aune wrote: Vegeta: The one with brown hair, and the two on the sides.
Suprising huh? I will put up a few more examples later on. When it comes to the 2inch figures it can be hard to spot the fake ones as the official sets are sold in numerous different forms i.e in tins, plastic bubbles or clear bags from vending machines. There are also numerous manufacturors now and have been even more over the years (such as Bandai, AB, Panini and Irwin) aswell as many unpronouncable others. Spotting fakes is difficult, but if your buying online the best indication you can have is the seller/source (not to be prejudice of course). Back when I used to collect these things I didn't really care if they were fake or not - I was just a kid who wanted as much Dragonball stuff as I could get my hands on.

I remember I went to a 99 cent store and they were selling bootleg GT toys. They were obviously bootlegs.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

lol Oh man. One time I was in China Town and I saw this big box with these tiny DBZ action figures. It had like every character. Problem is, Super Saiyan 4 Goku had like orange body hair, and Super Saiyans had like green hair, and Vegeta had a black suit, and Broly looked weird. Oh man, those were the good ol' days.
