Wait, are the eliminations going to be much different in the manga than the anime? I assumed they would be pretty much the same, just a lot of the fodder knocked out off-screen because there's no time to show everything.

If we start having things like 18 losing to Rbrianne, or Gohan taking out Jimeze instead of Freeza....this might as well be a completely different story.

They are already setting up 18 fighting Ribrianne, so she will job soon.

Jimeze role could go to someone else(like Obuni maybe?).

I don't think 18 will lose to Ribrianne but we'll see. A fight between the two will definitely happen that's for sure.

Finally saw the Manga in Full and indeed it seems they are maybe setting up an early confrontation between Ribrianne and 18, we have to wait and see.

I notice how much more stern face and serious Ribrianne looks in the Manga, complete 180 from her more joyful self in the anime, it really is interesting to see, My Ribrianne's Gaze Serious looks like it could cut Steal!!!

So far a am digging the Manga allot, they seem to do allot better job giving off the ideals this is a Battle Royal and already have fighters at least putting up fights instead of the ones we don't know well like from U10 just being knocked out with 1 attack.

I hope Jimeze did get to safety with in Instant Transmission.

As for who might win with 18 vs. Ribrianne if it happens..............YEA I rather not speculate, these are both Magnificent Women and it be a sad to see either of them go.

It will be an interesting fight, but We have to wait and see, but whatever happens happens.

Ribrianne and Bergamo are the ones I want to really get a leg up here and Universe 4 had better get some love this time around.

Ribrianne and Bergamo are the ones I want to really get a leg up here and Universe 4 had better get some love this time around.

Indeed, that is why I find it hard routing over many characters like 18 because she has a fanbase like all others that want to see her do well.

But the same with Ribrianne, many of us want her to go farther then she did in the Anime which with all respect to the wins U7 got just feel like each Universe was lining up one after another to get thrown off by U7. They ranked-up nearly 75% of the ring-outs and ALL of the Universe erased where done by their members, it was honestly over the top in U7 by the writers and really the Manga needs to spread this out more.

So far yea U7 has the most ring-out, but hopefully that changes in the next few chapters. The Manga should show characters like Ribrianne and Bergamo and other universe that did not seem to get as much love like U10 and U4 to make is a unique battle.

While I really have not much problem with any fans that dislikes any character, that is your right to like and not like who you do, parts of the Net just went WAY over the Top with the Garbage they threw at Ribrianne and it still disappoints me members of the DB fanbase(Not here really on Kanzenshuu, many here are cool) just Lambasted her character with unnecessary hate mainly due to personal preference differences.

Honestly with that said, I still keep my Fandom on the positive note cause I Ribrianne/Brianne IMO Fandom is a Great Character and she is the main reason why I am here all together. I rather talk about the positives cause these shows where made to be enjoyed to whatever levels you desire!

Indeed while I think it is cool and more combat oriented in transforming before the ToP started, I greatly enjoyed the Fireballs Transformation sequence which is pure coolness for any fan of Precure, Sailor Moon or many other Magical Girls. It would have also been really a treat to see it done in Manga Form, Just WOW that would have been Great!

While the gag itself with the repeat transformation was very Toriyama-esque, I always felt the base designs were Toei exclusive. Not really surprised they aren't in the manga, though it's surely disappointing. But hey, Toyotaro had some fun exclusive gags in the Black arc, so we might get something as funny but also different, which is always cool!

So I read the Spanish translation (I’m Hispanic)
And according to goku, he can’t feel jirens Ki at all, and jiren is just in base. He can only feel the sensation he gives off.

Take that as you will. And take it with a grain of salt, since I’m not sure if the Spanish translations are as accurate as the VIZ ones.

Since Ribrianne seems to be the hot topic of this thread right now, does anyone else think that the whole magical girl parody might have been a toei thing? I know it's a bit premature of me to ask this but based off what I've seen so far it seems like it.

Well I think it was Intention Easily by Toei CriticalThinker, but not in a Parody Sense.

Parodies are mostly for comic effect only, so while their has been comical effect with Ribrianne and the Magical Girls IMO it is not different then the levels we see in other Magical Girl shows like Sailor Moon or Precure or even the Comical Levels we see from DB Characters themselves.

What I think Ribrianne and U2 is is a Homage to Toei's Magical Girl History and to Finally include their Biggest Legacy product outside of Dragon Ball into the Dragon Ball Mythos. Remember Toei is the House that Built the Magical Girl Legacy the most. They own and distribute BOTH Sailor Moon and the Precure/Pretty Cure line that are MEGA Franchise and Cash Cows for Toei just like Dragon Ball is.

So why Magical Girls are in Dragon Ball makes sense since both are own and created by Toei, both are their Mega Franchises and Ribrianne is a Homage to Magical Girls in a Dragon Ball Style that Toei wanted to final include in the DB Mythos to Homage one of its franchise just like the Pride Troopers are a Homage to Super Sentai!

Remember also too that Precure/Pretty Cure Shows took Allot of Dragon Ball Styles of Fighting and Animation and put it into their Magical Girl Characters and Battles with Epic Results! So Dragon Ball just entered into the Magical Girl Worlds with Precure/Pretty Cure, Ribrianne and the Fireballs are sharing of Magical Girls in the DB Worlds, an exchange of ideas by Toei if you would.

The Ribrianne gag in the anime couldve handled better with proper writing(why didnt they hire the script writer that worked for Sailor Moon Crystal S3 because the comedy there was as good as original Sailor Moon).

I have the feeling Toyotaro will keep it simple with her like he is doing it with Toppo.

Also Caulifla made Magetta cry which I feel its the equivalent of refusing to shake Gokus hand in the anime.
