I doubt that. They've never had skills come from the raids yet, that's just been 'super special outfits/accesories' basically. And the FigherZ one is a collab thing that's supposed to come from having FighterZ data on your system, I believe.

The DLC's out now. If you don't want spoilers, come back after you finish it. That's your own fault, really. I respected that people wanted spoiler tags until today because the DLC's out now, so you should've played it by now...

But how awesome would it be to have our XV1 Patroller as a Partner? The moves that got carried over from the first game could remain, and they could get like dual Super Kamehameha and whatever awoken skill their race has

EXACTLY! Things people have been clamoring for! The first game's CaC you imported as a usable character in multiplayer mode! It makes no sense why we can't use them whatsoever.

So I just beat both stories in the Extra Pack 2. However upon being returned to the Time Nest my game reset itself because of supposed Xbox Live issues. Now my data is saved and I still got my Achievement but do you unlock anything for beating a certain form of Son Goku's? I hope the game returning to the title screen did not rob me of something.

[spoiler]I didn't get to see Ultra Instinct Goku (that was teased in the trailer to be in the Time Rift stage, I assumed he was part of the story). Is he even part of the story mode? If so, what should I do to get to him?[/spoiler]

You have to beat both the Time Patroller and Fu sides of the story. Talk to Fu and he'll reset the story (you will still have your saved progress) and then you choose the opposite of your first playthrough. Use the Tokipedia to help track your route.

Oh you will have fun and take different mentors into each story mission. Son Goku (mentor) has great dialouge with SS4 Goku in the first mission and UI Goku is balls hard. Do not stamina break him just bring his stamina down and take it from there. (His Stamina recovers very slowly and if you stamina break him then you'll have to deal with his dodging your punches when his stamina recovers.) The move "Pressure Sign" is your best friend in UI Goku fight.

Bring Whis with you on that first mission where you fight Goku and Vegeta. Just... just do it, you will not be sorry.

I played the new content a bit yesterday (all PQs and some of the new story) and I'm really liking it. If this is an indication of where the next installment in the series will go, I'm all for it. More choices = more replay value

My only problem right now is, that I've gotten so used to the controls in FighterZ that it is really hard for me to get used to the button layout of XV2 again I keep finishing my strings with a small blast when I try to send the enemy flying with a heavy attack. I guess I'll just need to get back into it a bit more.

So after a break I come back and finally paste Zamasu hard enough into being my teacher, but man those inputs in his first mission are annoying.

I havent beaten all the fights to get bojacks second lesson. the 1 v 3 is giving me a lot of grief.

Might try and farm up a bit and build my skills, try new combos etc.

If I'm not mistaken, he'll show up after some point in the story. He will fly above the tournament area and charge at you on sight. Once you've beaten him, he'll be available as a teacher.

Yeah, I plan on repeating the Story Mode with other mentors. I'll have so much fun hunting for dialogues and information for my heart's desire!

Like this one, for example! It might be nothing but for me is a great deal. It's the first time Kaioshin of Time is referred to as "Chronoa" outside of Dragon Ball Heroes! Simply love these tidbits!

Restarting the route lets you see dialogue specific to talking to the mentor during a certain part of the story of a certain path.

Ohh, okay. Hmm...that's a lot more re-doing just to do that though. I think I'll stick to just using Tokipedia for now to redo the fights with the different mentors and hear their dialogues that come from there.

Huh, really? Like they just get dropped into your skill bag, or it unlocks to buy them from the skill store or TP shop? If it's the former, does it at least notify you that you've gotten them, or do you have to check?

Interesting, I've beaten the whole story but he's not anywhere I can see, do I have to fly very high up?
