Moving off of the subject of Yaoi for a second, I have the same problem with unrealistic Hetero fics/doujinshi too. Trunks x Pan - WTF!? I can see it as a one-sided thing where Pan maybe likes Trunks, but no. Nothing more.

Going on to a Naruto rant real quick - Sasuke x Hinata. Do they ever even SPEAK to eachother!? So why would they be so quick to jump in eachothers pants?

I think incest is pretty hot, but really only of the brothercest variety. When I see (particularly for DBZ) things like father x son, or the like...yeeeeeeeah. Crossing some serious lines, there. But I'll stop before we cross some serious lines on this thread ^^;;;;

2) Hurple. There's a little area called Hurple, and as you drive by it you can see some kid waving at you. Catch is, he has 6 fingers. Not a problem, but then you learn the story behind it. WOW.

I said part of continuity, not canon. When you have a comic in wich Goku has sexual relations with Chichi in the 10 days before the Cell Games, well, that preety much seems to make sense in the continuity of Dragonball.

This his been covered before. The 'deed' that created Goten did not and could not have occured during the 10 days of rest for the Cell Games. I know it's a popular fan theory and all that but the timing is totally off. Goten was born that year, there's only 7 months left in the year. 6 when you consider that May was almost over. Therefore it occurred at least two months prior to the Androids showing up.

Not a problem, some people do generalize, though.

I've seen a few passable Trunks/Pan fics but really isn't an eays pairing to make convincing cause it's just so out there. Course, I've got some wild or odd pairings in a few of my fanfictions. TDOY with its Trunks/18, Marron/Bra, 17/Pan comes to mind. As does Legacy of Bardock with Raditz/Chi-Chi, Yamcha/Sno, 17/Bulma, Kakarotto/18 (yeah, he never becomes 'Goku' specifically but he's still largely the same person, just a bit smarter since he grows up with Raditz), and Krillin/Zangya. >.>

We know how much time passed for the Android saga because the days that passed were mentioned, so we do know exactly when the Cell Games occured.

And the 10 days before is *far* from the only time he had. We've seen how Goku trains. He doesn't go non stop from day 1 to day whatever. He rests inbetween to recover. No doubt he returned home several times during the 3 years. Quite likely he went home every night after his training. Beyond fans wanting Goten to have been concieved leading into the Cell Games there's nothing that says he was (or even that he could have been). Meanwhile there's strong evidence that he wasn't concieved then.

Yes, that one is quite the unusual universe, assuming it ever gets further than three chapters. At least I start at the beginning, though, with Raditz and Kakarotto setting out to destroy the Red Ribbon Army as training (and partly for revenge for Gohan's death) and meeting the others. So at least everything gets (or well get, since it's not happened yet) explained and made believable.
