Heart Virus Zenkai?

Obviously the plot device of a zenkai isn’t an exact science, but did Goku receive one after recovering from his heart condition?

It's never outright stated, but considering how wishy-washy power levels are (especially post-Frieza) I honestly don't see why not. After all, I personally believe Goku got a zenkai boost after the Ultra-Divine Water nearly killed him, so why wouldn't the heart virus if Goku lives through it?

Its impossible to tell really cause he didn't fight until after coming out of the time chamber, however nothing would suggest he got stronger after recovering from the virus

Even after recovering, Goku said that Vegeta was still above him, so no, I don't think he got stronger. They probably stopped getting zenkais after transforming into SSJ. The zenkais don't seem to be existant for the saiyans post Frieza arc.

Never implied. He even still holds Vegeta, Cell and the twins on a higher regard than him, so he definitely didn't get any stronger.

I think zenkais were part of the saiyan's gradual transition into super saiyans. I guess if we take the s-cells thing as an explanation, maybe they gain s-cells rapidly through zenkais but once a saiyan attains enough s-cells to turn super saiyan they sort of max out and can't sustain any more.

Well here's the thing, even if we overlook zenkai being dropped after it's introduction arc, the power increase Goku gained must have been pretty negligible for him to have to consider not fighting the androids and training to surpass Super Saiyan instead.

Zenkai happens during an intense battle to the point of almost death and being able to survive through that battle. The heart virus would put that person in the grave.
