Users here often complain about reused animation, while I'm glad if we get any fight animation at all.
It grinds my gears that ever since the move to DBZ (and to some extent even before that), fighting coreography has been dumbed down. I understand that it's way easier to draw a lot of straight lines to indicate the speed of an attack, than the actual punches. I also understand that the fighters ability to move faster than the human eye can see, allows them to dodge a lot of crazy animation work. But I really can't stand it, when huge parts of a battle are just illustrated by explosions flying over the battlefield or arena, instead of showing us what is going on.

I like a mix of both. Seeing two guys trade blows will go only so far. Sometimes it can be more effective to see what the force of the blows is doing to the topography, etc. I love the fight between Kuririn and Goku as well, but the scale of that battle was far smaller than Goku vs. Freeza.
The biggest truths aren't original. The truth is ketchup. It's Jim Belushi. Its job isn't to blow our minds. It's to be within reach.

I agree, a mix of both would be perfect. But lately I feel as if they rely on the explosion parts more and more.

Rant incoming.

There once was a horse. One day, a group of people started beating the horse, and unsurprisingly, it soon died. But the people didn't stop. In fact, more people joined in, though plenty left as well, and eventually, the people who had killed the horse to begin with were all replaced. This ever-changing mass of people continued beating, even though the horse carcass was rotting away. Eventually, nothing remained, even the skeleton had been completely crushed into powder, and yet the people beat and beat, assaulting the ground below.

This is how ridiculous it is to still pull "Piccolo is Gohan's real dad" jokes. The horse has literally turned into dust at this point. Fucking stop.

The Yamcha Death Pose Meme - I hate how overused and how overgrown it has become.
It has grown to the point that it is the ONE thing Yamcha is known for in both fandom and now in canon and in official merchandise.
And more non-DB characters showed up in that pose than the actual character showed up in any pose in Super.

That meme needs to die already.

People ignoring the original DB Series - I just do not like how it is disregarded as an "unimportant prequel where our hero grows up in peace" when it is nearly HALF of the original manga.
I run a fangroup decicated to the original DB anime on deviantART and people only ever post Z/Super/GT art in the main folder, even though they have their own side-folder.

The fact that it isn't in recent video games does not help matters either....
Wishes she can change her name to YamchaFan (her name everywhere else)
Obssessed with the Earthlings and the original DB anime

I really hate how overused that meme is too. I have seen some cool Yamcha figures on Amazon though, even though the death pose figure is usually the first hit.

The ending of the Android 21 Arc (FighterZ)

It just pissed me off that they had to kill the good 21.

After she died i thought that they will use the dragonballs to bring her back and use the 2nd wish to remove her urges to feed.

But when Goku said that she should be reincarnated instead of being wished back i lost it.

I mean, reincarnating her is the worst thing they can possible do.

The whole backstory of her would be pointless because of that. (Not just the story, but also her perfect design and character!)

We already saw how a reincarnation turned out with Uub. :eh:

She should rather stay dead and be in heaven before that happens. (And the evil version shoud stay in hell where she belongs  )

My headcanon is that King Yemma doesnt grant Gokus request because reincarnation happens only with very evil souls.

FighterZ’s story in general is pretty lame. It’s mostly just the character interactions that are great, and even then some of that is botched because of “artistic license.” 21 herself seems like a pure waifu character, so I don’t really mind what happened to her once the game ended. If we’re being absolutely honest with ourselves, most people already got what they wanted from her, tits and cuteness.
Heroes come and go, but legends are forever.

Rest in peace.

The cutscenes are awesome ... i really enjoy them :)

Especially the ones with Cell ... just perfect. :D

I would actually want to see more of 21.

Like you said, for many people she is a waifu character.

I also share the same opinion but more low key. (I love the ghoul eyes and the power to turn people into sweets from the evil version and the motherly and cute personality of the good version)

Maybe she will appear again in a future db game, thats what i hope. (Future Anime or Manga would be awesome, but i doubt that will ever happen ... unless its fanfiction :) )

There's still hope with Xenoverse 3. They already brought her outfit over to Xenoverse 2 so maybe they could make her DLC.

People that say that Dragon Ball is a show where people just scream for 20 episodes.

Throwing all the old stuff under the bus just so Super's various problems can somehow get excused by basically saying Dragon Ball was always a worthless piece of shit and we're just dumb for not figuring that out until now.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

It's infuriating. I think it's exclusive to the Dragon Ball fanbase, too. I don't see any other fanbase throwing the old stuff under the bus to justify underwhelming new material.

It was starting to be a thing with Star Wars for a while there until Last Jedi broke everyone into a hundred warring factions. But yeah, on average I cannot name anything but the Dragon Ball fanbase deliberately saying the thing they apparently love and have been following for years has always been a pile of shit and suddenly you look like a crazy person for not realizing it.

Yamoshi is gonna be a real teeth-grinder for the near future. I watch the new teaser on youtube and my suggested videos are flooded with ridiculous clickbait garbage. :problem:

I know it's become trendy to bring back old shows, but it's still relatively rare.

most of them are Naruto fans who think just because one thing is more complex and in depth means it's way better.
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.
