Eh. I dunno. They seem rather self-contained, never being referenced outside the filler itself. Plus, filler has resulted in a lot of inconsistencies in the Dragon Ball series, so I'm immediately skeptical when it happens in Super. At least so far the filler seems pretty inconsequential to world-building or overall plot, so it probably doesn't matter much either way.

That design looks great; very simple and Saiyan-arc like. Love the return of the Nyoibo and the loose belt, too. Hopefully it's actually representative of the movie and not just some promo art completely unrelated to its content.

That promo art looks great. I hope the movie looks like that and isn’t just an unrelated image like with what RF did.

What if this new movie is just retelling all of Goku's story? Through the perspective of maybe Yamoshi or whatever is name is...? Sort of like how Path of Power was a retelling for an anniversary and here they're celebrating a 20th movie.

Considering they rushed in a series right after RoF, I doubt that. Maybe third time's the charm?

Apparently Tatsuya Nagamine will be the director of the film and Shintani Naohiro will be the newest character designer. That means no Tadayoshi Yamamuro to design the characters. He still can be an animation supervisor, though.
