How tall was Freeza

Just wandering if there is anything anymore that gives us an accurate Height of Freeza in his final form, Not 100%, like in the Daizenshuu or something???

He looked to be about the same height as Vegeta to me.

Well, taking as a source one of the title pages in the gallery in the back of tankobon 26, it clearly shows Freeza having to look way up to glare at Goku in the eye even when the latter is leaning forward. Goku is....5'7, I thought I read somewhere hereabouts? So Freeza is probably about 4 feet tall or something like that. There are times when he seems slightly bigger, but even then he would still be less than 5 feet tall. Sorry it's not anything official, but it's just my opinion based on the relevant volumes of the manga.

On a side note, that makes King Cold about 9 feet tall or so....anyone else think they made him too small in Budokai Tenkaichi 3? <_< >_>

Thanks for that Cypher, Yea i guess its pretty much gonna be just Speculation, So is it Official Goku is 5'7? If it is then i should be able to work out Freezas Height.

OK, I just checked my French version of daizenshuu 7 and it states that Goku is 175 cms (and 62 kg, for what it's worth) So that makes him about 5'8/9.

Thanks so much for that, Now i can almost accuratley workoout how tall Freeza is, Thanks a lot.

All i have to do now is look at several differant images Goku and Freeza are in together and work it out.

One of my guides say that final form Freeza is 6'2" at 185lbs, Vegeta is 5'6" at 160lbs, and Goku is 5'7" at 137lbs.

Goku and Vegeta's stats seem consistent with what is being said by the other members; yet Freeza's don't make sense.

I've always had trouble with Vegeta's height....it seemed at points in the Namek/Freeza saga that he was only slightly taller than Kuririn, but by the Buu saga he definitely seems a bit closer to Goku... I don't know if I'd put him within an inch of him at any point in the series though, just going by the manga. Still, just my thoughts anyway ^^

Agreed. It seems as if he started around 5'3", and ended around 5'6"

Either way, I think Freeza was around 5'4" or 5'5" based on estimates of whoever he stood next to in final form. There's no way he could be over 6 feet.

I checked Daizenshuu 7 (sadly not the Japanese version) for more heights to compare things with, but sadly it only had Yamcha, Tenshinhan (and maybe a few more hidden around the place). No Freeza though, nor even characters like Piccolo, so really you sort of wonder why they bothered including only a few such pieces of information....o_O

If anyone has volume 25 (I think the Viz translation had chapter pages in a gallery in the back too?) there is a neat picture of Gohan, Kuririn, Vegeta and Piccolo, where the first three are really small compared to 'Big Green'; since the Daizenshuu gives Tenshinhan as 185 cm, which is about...6' on the dot/ 6'1, I think? and Piccolo is a bit taller than him from group shots and such, say about 6'4 or thereabouts, that must make Vegeta....really short, shorter than 5'6 I'd have to think. But there is also the possibility (ok, probability considering Toriyama-sensei ¬_¬) that he wasn't all that concerned about exact consistency with heights etc...

Well, there are more ramblings (loosely) related to the subject, again just my speculations and such, for whatever they're worth ^^

Big Green!? Don't tell me that Viz translated Piccolo to Big Green. I forgot where that came from. Was it like the British dub or something that called him that? Can't be, the British dub has the Ocean dub. So Australian maybe? I just know that somewhere out there, Piccolo is known as Big Green. Don't tell me Viz's version has that name.

I think it's Australian, or the British. British had a few different dubs as I understand. I know 100% in the Lord Slug movie (in one of the dubs) he's referred to as Big Green. I heard it...Gohan had this very horrible voice and he was like, "Heyyyyy! Big Greeeennnnn!" I couldn't listen anymore. And you thought FUNimation was bad.

This is how I think Freeza's height goes:

First Form- About 5'2. You could look at him and Vegeta, and tell who'd the taller of the two

Second Form- About 6'1 or a bit taller. He's taller then Piccolo, who is about 5'11 to 6'0.

Third Form- About 5'6. He's not as tall as his previous form, but he's definitely taller then his first form. So, I think it's okay to put him right in the middle.

Final Form- About 5'5 to 5'6. He looks like he could be about the same size as Vegeta, who I think is about 5'6. It's kinda tough to tell, because when Freeza is seen standing next to Cold, he looks like he's around the same height as Kid Buu. Maybe that was because he got damaged by the kienzan.

Yeah, "Big Green" is from a British dub of some of the movies. AB Group, I believe. I know they did Movies 3, 4, and 6 at least.
