IGN lists the top 10 plot twists of Dragon Ball history

Yeah, that list is pretty bad. Most of those were plot developments, not plot twists. Goku is an alien? Trunks comes out of nowhere and kills Freeza & King Cold? Those are twists.

Though I'll likely never do it, rading this is making me consider doing a flash cartoon of the twists including the Sixth Sense director like those sketches on Robot Chicken.

Speaking of which, sorry to drift off topic here, but how do you make AMVs? You did say making a flash cartoon of the twists and that kind of made me figure, for whatever reason, that you'd be able to help me out on that. I just wanna give it a try.

I wouldn't say that IGN is known for its brilliant opinions. I like that they are very in-depth with the games, but their opinions are not all that great.

Well Trunks coming back to tell them that their peaceful world is about to get a very bad turn is a twist. As well as Trunks being the offspring of Bulma and Vegeta.

For most people that started watching from DBZ, that was in the second episode, so not really a shocker. For those exposed to the Ocean dub first, it was in the very first episode.

What are you on? That was great. Taking the main villian from the last arc and having Trunks kill him with ease. Then kills his equally powerful father easily. Then followed by the revelation that he came tro warn them about Androids more powewrful than he is. Thats one of the greatest "Oh shit....." moments ever in any show or comic.

I loved to see a fighter from the future telling Goku that even though his power was the highest so far, it was shit compared to the androids in the future.
Everyone was talking about SSJ this and SSJ that and noone could compare to the SSJ. And then everything is escalated powerwise, without limits.

Vegetto is more a thing from a 12 year olds fanfiction. Seriosly. "I love Goku and Vegeta, and I wonder how they would be and how strong they would be if they fused! We have already seen Gotenks! I wanna see Goku and Vegeta!!"
Vegetto was awesome, but the idea was not that brilliant. At least the arrival of Trunks is more brilliant.

And ... ok, ridiculously redone in fanfics to the extentthat I'm most likely to not read anything if I see it going off of that period unless it very quickly has something good to offer.

You can make all sorts of assinine list and it doesn't matter. I could take some of the greatest comics,movies and tv shows ever made and make a out of context list.

What matters is the execution which was near perfect. The final product was far stronger than the sum of its parts.
