I think it has approximately the same production time as Movie 14. The very first thing related to that movie started in 2011, with Toei approaching Toriyama to do a movie, as for this Movie 1, the very first thing related that we know of was a storyboard around September 2017 seen in one of the animator's account Twitter. In other words, about two years of production time for both films, and it was probably the same for Movie 15 as well.

I figure they release information and merchandising stuff whenever they feel like it regardless of how the production is going.

Do you guys think that the Universe 6 Saiyans and Planet Sadala will have something to do with this movie? I mean, it was confirmed that it's about the Saiyan History, and with all the foreshadowing in the ToP from Cabba and Vegeta about a visit to Planet Sadala, it would be weird to leave them out.

Nope, just my reference to Games of Thrones (GOT). If this battle of Ice is going to be as epic like in GOT, i'm all in for the icy background.

I'm getting the feeling that this movie would be the one to officially bring back the franchise to be about Saiyans and their tails. This is probably the best time to incorporate the SS4 into the mix.

So I got on the movie official website, I decied to copy the translate off website and paste in google japanese translate (which I believe it probably incorrect without actual translater aka herm98) and i saw this

Starting with a word of Goku's "Welcome home!" To warm up a new enemy in front.

It is not exactly the visual of a standing enemy, but its form wearing an awesome feeling ...

Speaking of they're currently planning the movie merch, wish I was on the committee telling them what do oh well, at least it can't be any worse than BoG and 2016 of DBS...

But anyway you are right production doesn't seem to have an effect, surprisingly, we know of DBS 1.0's production problems & they knew about UI before "Omen" even debuted in October practically at least half a year before the form actually debuted in March, not only big stuff but they know some really obscure stuff too like Goku using the Spirit Bomb with Kaioken vs Jiren months before the special...

Yep. Broly's pod crashed in the arctic, creating a crater that flooded and froze him for ~7 years.

Besides, that guy can't be Broly because Broly isn't tan. Maybe it's Paragus.

@vashter. 'Dragon Ball Ultra' is just how Google Translate renders Super. The kanji in Super's title means 'super,' 'ultra' and a couple other similar things.

I really hope they give us some plot info soon. I'd have to research back to see how long Toei left us hanging after the initial announcements for BOG and F.

I hope we'll get something more consistent until summer.

Also, maybe it would be better to look towards OP movies and see how it was done there. Seems like it's treated like a OP anyway (December release, year long production, etc)
