The only thing I really like about DBH it's their willingness to design new battle clothes for the established cast. Goku's DBH dougi is very cool. It's something Super just couldn't being itself to do; move away from Z's outfits and create some exclusive battle clothes in the way the F movie did. All they did was add the kanji to Goku's late Z dougi.

Heroes started a new storyline/expansion this month ( Universe Mission 1 beginning with the Prison Planet arc) and the Avatar characters got another class upgrade so they can use SSB and equivalent skills for all races. It also looks like it's using the Super-continuity characters so that might be why it's under the Super branding.

Not that I know of. I think the Goku/Satan fusion Gotan is getting a new card or something. Maybe it's supposed to be him?

Nah, it is definitely the kanji for Son Goten, strange.

Anyway looks like we in for a stacked June and July!

Also we will get an idea of what Banpresto will release for the new movie in May once the Oct-Dec schedules updates (hopefully it updates sooner) of course December being movie month! They're currently planning it and I wish I was a fly on the wall or there telling them what to do! Lol. If I were to guess we'd probably get WCF sets standard and probably continuation of the DXF line as that is the only current non exclusive to something prize line, for the safe bets. Then maybe later on Goku FES and Grandista and hopefully an Ichiban Kuji too.

Note and Beat might be since they're effectively the mascots for Dragon Ball Heroes. I find it a little hard to believe that the other Hero avatars would be, especially the Namekian who's hardly in anything.

ToP merch is a lost cause now. I've given up expectations. Kale and Cauli I'd call fairly main characters in the arc, but they've barely done anything with them to even know if they are popular or not, the most available merch for them is a ¥200 UDM Kafla key chain figure that's it.

We're still suffering from their poor 2016 when they barely merched any DBS despite 2016 having two new material arcs and they've been playing catch up on Trunks arc ever since.

Not sure. I don't know if it's ever been addressed in-story but I imagine it's just to show that Bulma/Capsule Corp made them.

So is there anywhere I can get 'em for significantly cheaper? I think the DVD's might be the way to go instead if I'm on a budget, but at that point I might as well just buy the episodes digitally.

The cheapest I've seen them is at a local wal-mart where they go for $24.99 or thereabouts. The dvds are usually $20.

Super has them but they don't really stick for very long. Heroes has the advantage of multiple timelime shenanigans so you have Goku: Xeno and Vegeta: Xeno who have spiffy new outfits (the new manga chapter shows them shirtless with long coats like some kind of delinquents) and then the capsule gi Goku which is just "Son Goku" and might be Super's Goku. New outfits are also an excuse to roll out new cards for Heroes, too, so I'm sure they take advantage of that.

I'm really eager to see what the first merchandise for the new Goku will look like. I wonder if they'll stick with a semi-Yamamuro classic style or if the sculpt will better reflect the new designs?
