What do you think of Toyotaro's art

Post by Omniboy » Fri Mar 30, 2018 3:02 pm

For me, I have always liked his art style, and found it heavily enticing. He does deviate from Toriyama's old style, and has a more modern look to his art, but even then I think it looks great.

Looks cool to me , those pics that you show are really stylized , attractive with a touch of modernity, really like the breast style , kinda different when most of mangakas tend to oversized (not Toriyama )
Some volume covers are awesome, he also does know how to draw vehicules with his own style .
I just don’t get why he draw Krillin and Roshi that tiny , they look great but in a xs size , those panels with them and the rest really hurt my eye .
May be there’s better artists to create a color poster , but he looks the one that can draw 45 pages per month with a notable quality and maintain peace with Toriyama original style
It was as if a whole lot of people ...were screaming in pain....

I really love his transformation/power up poses. With Trunks powering up for Goku as my favorite manga panel in Super. Looks so badass.

"I can't increase my ability through some kind of noisy transformation the way Frost and you Saiyans do. If I wanna become more lethal, I don't have the luxury of cutting corners, I just have to do it the old-fashioned way.

Combat is craft. What matters most is not raw power, but the skill by which you hone it."
