Course, if you have a 360 (I don't T_T) then I'd definitely recommend Rise of a Ninja.
Rise of a Ninja is the only reason I truly wish I had a 360. And I hear it only covers the first few dozen episodes. But I guess I could pick up the GC and PS2 series.

I still kinda surprised at how many Dragonball Z games are still being released after the series has ended. And the fact that they're being produced by Japanese companies surpises me more.

If I had to choose, I guess I'd rather had the game go further than the show than being stuck behind it. It kinda reminds me of when I was into wrestling and the game would come out but certain alliances and Tag Teams would be dissolved and new ones created, but you'd be stuck with the previous setups of them in the "story" mode of the game.

I have a Wii and a PS2 so I guess I have a selection to chose from, but if I get a GC game I'll have to rebuy a GC controller and memory card. I would import but I would need something to allow me to play those games.

Anyone wish we had all these awesome games being released now, back when the you were still watching the series new?
Absolutly not, if they took the Naruto approach of editing out characters and special attacks. Imagine if Budokai 3 got rid of Gogeta and Jenemba just because they weren’t dubbed yet.
Oh and get the Gamecube titles, much more awesome then the PS2 games.
I think that's why Budokai 1 didn't have Yamcha's So-ki-Dan. Wasn't fresh in people's minds and its introduction didn't come until a year later in DB when it was airing, so Budokai 2 got it.
Isn't Budokai 1 a Japanese game? I don't thing that they would remove a technique just because the it hadn't shown up on the dub series yet.

Not on the Japanese side of things maybe, but English-release wise, they probably would.

I was afraid Arale was gonna be removed from BT3 since she only appears twice in DB, and isn't really a DB character. Glad to see I was wrong.

She did have her N’cha and Kiiiin removed though due to her catch phrases not meaning jack to the US audience. Then again I guess they weren’t really removed as much as they were just not dubbed.

Yeah, they were still there as moves, but not said vocally, due to the reasons you said most likely.

I bet a bunch of people played the game wondering who the heck this little purple-haired girl was in the first place.

That is why though I know it likely won't happen due to it being old, I think if Funimation dubbed Dr. Slump with Laura Baily or Luci Christian as Arale, it would rock.

Either one of those ladies would do a wonderful job with Arale, but I had no problem with Brina Palencia's rendition in the game. Wasn't perfect, but a character like Arale would be hard to nail. And it was better than the voice used in Mystical Adventure, thank God, so all is well.

Can't say I much cared for Brice Armstrong as Senbei though. He's a great actor, don't get me wrong, but I can't see that voice fitting with Senbei. Course, you don't actually SEE Senbei in the game, so it's not too bad either I guess.

Haven't played the game, but a lot of things could've been better than that. Heck, whoever played her during the Dr. Slump crossover on DB was better than in Mystical Adventure. And was also truer to her character.

Y'know I don't even think Brice is doing a voice. I know a bunch of old men who sound just like Captain Ginyu. So maybe his voice really does fit Senbei.

As far as Naruto Games go, since you have a PS2/Wii. I'd definitely reccomend getting Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution, its a Wii title and the best Clash of Ninja in America. As for the PS2, I'd wait until March and get Ultimate Ninja 2.
Rise of Ninja is fun, but the story mode is only 3/4 hours long(VERY abbriviated)

And I've also wondered, why did the first Budokai game only go up to through the cell saga when it was made in Japan?(At least I heard it was made in Japan) I remember the English Dub being on the cell Saga when it was released, so was this game made with Americans in mind?

Also, I remember a while back seeing a trailer for a Dr. Slump dub, is there on in America?

I heard it took them a few years to make the cut scenes for just those three sagas. So the Buu saga added on to there would make them go insane. They must have not known how long the cut scenes would take to make because the menu shows Majin Vegeta Vs. Goku and Gohan in his super hero costume was in the game. My guess is they wanted to do the Buu saga but ran out of time and didn’t want to postpone the game for too long.

Eh, they ARE in the Dr. Slump manga, and it's not like too many American Dragonball fans would know who she is in the first place if they weren't familiar with Dr. Slump already.
