How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
Particularly the U6 and U11 characters, as those ones will most likely have the most storylines down the road.
Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
Caulifla and Kefla had a lot of screen time, build up and character development. They alongside #17 became two of my favorite characters from the entire franchise, just only after Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks.

Most I enjoyed. Kale, Caulifla, Jiren, Dyspo, Aniraza, Kefla, Katopesla, and Obuni were all great
But some not the biggest fan. Ribrianne, Nigrishi, Mona, the hidden U4 Fighters, and the U6 Namekians were a bit of a let down

Parden my spellings.
I disliked the female characters the most. Kale and cauliflower especially, just felt they were too much of the clichéd anime girls. Then they had their OP power ups, as well as dismantling SSB like nothing, but then again power levels are made up to fit the current fight.
Hated the whole crying brolly thing.
Ribrianes little group were very annoying too.
Liked Cabbage, majority of others didn't really feel much for them, they mostly felt forgettable to me.
The metal robot who got offended by insults cracked me up. Also like seeing Roshi in action.

Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
There weren't really a lot of breakouts. The biggest new names all ended up being either controversial (Jiren, Caulifla) or outright hated (Ribrianne, Kale to a lesser extent). Most of the minor characters weren't much to write home about apart from a couple "oh, they were cool" darkhorses like Obuni or Katopesla. We didn't really get a standout fighter that everybody enjoyed like Hit in the previous tourney. The closest of the big players to achieve that was maybe Toppo, but he surprisingly didn't get much focus.
Personally, I adored Caulifla and liked most of the other big names well enough, even the controversial ones like Jiren and Ribrianne. The only big player I really dislike was Dyspo because he had so little substance despite being part of the final boss crew.
I think with a tournament like this, it's more about the concept of the group and what they represent as a whole than the individual personalities. I can say I liked Universe 6, 2 and 3, I wish 11 had been treated better outside of it's principle three, couldn't care less about 4 and felt bad for 9 and 10.

Personally I like Caulifla, Kale, Toppo, Ribrianne, Obuni, Katopesla, The trio de dangers and to lesser extent Jiren only because the last two episodes made him interesting.

I loved Caulifla and Toppo, immensely enjoyed Jiren, Kale, and the Trio De Danger, Katopesla was a great gag character and Aniraza and the Kamikaze Fireballs were fun for what they were.

Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
Hit or miss as a whole.
-The ones I liked were Toppo, the Trio de Dangers specially Basil, Anilaza, Kakunsa and Rozie, Maji Kayo, Dercori, Dr. Rota, Hop, Obuni, Ro and Katopesla to a lesser extent. They generally present a gimmick that stands out or that I personally enjoyed, whether a gag, personality trait, or fighting ability.
-The ones I disliked are Jiren, Kale, Ribrianne, and Caulifla to a lesser extent. It's all due to their personality or the episode focus they received despite they didn't do much at the end of their existence.
-The rest I don't care about.

Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
I immensely enjoyed Caulifla and Kale, they're wonderful new additions to the franchise. They're everything Saiyan girls should be (except the horrendous Broly homages and the poor writing allowing Caulifla to get a bunch of transformations in a day). Kefla was fun in 116, but really annoying in 115 so I like her but not too much.
I really liked Toppo, although I felt he was wasted. It could have been interesting to see his dilemma in justice vs god of destruction powers but it came out of nowhere and wasn't really elaborated upon at all.
I hated Jiren up until the last three episodes, which is where I really grew to like him. But those were only three episodes, so I guess as a whole I'd just say he's OK? Yeah, he got good near the end but for the most part
17 may as well be a new character introduced in the ToP because of how completely different he is, and obviously they've done a fantastic job with him. Despite the writing being lackluster for a lot of things this arc, it was pretty much as good as it gets when it came to 17's writing (except the whole self-destruct-jk-I'm-alive thing).
The Namekians were cool too... and I guess everyone else was alright. Ribrianne was handled horribly though...

Well, I enjoyed Caulifla, Kale, Toppo, Bergamo and Basil. I don't know what to think about Jiren, he was ok I guess. Same thing with Dyspo. Ribrianne was inconsistent and pretty annoying, however, I liked how she and her pals developed at the end as characters. The rest didn't really do much to make me have an opinion on them. I liked Ganos because he looked cool and I liked how he was mad at Roshi for eliminating 2 of his friends. Dercori had cool abilities and a great design. Katopesla was funny at first, but just like Ribrianne he started to annoy after awhile too. Maji Kayo had a great design too.
Gowasu's number 1 fan.
Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
The one I enjoyed most was 17, he was a total badass all throughout and had always continued to surprise me with how awesome he was, the MVP.
I really like Jiren now. I hated him up to episode 127.
But ever since 127 he became interesting and I think I becamw a fanboy of him.
Toppo was cool, I like how he can be really analitical and serious at times, and also goofy with his justice bubbling.
Not to mention his justice roasting capabilities.
He's Jiren's best buddy now.
Frieza was also cool as you would expect, he took his evil side to new levels, a great expansion on his evil personality, and his lines were funny and savage at the same time. He became the joker of DB.
Vegeta was pretty good too, he had some regression moments, but overall his development continued. His pride speeches were awesome and he perfotmed well.
Hit was also a total badass with savage lines, a shame he had like 2 episodes of screen time.
Kale and Caulifla were OK. A bjt annoying sometimed, but they kicked ass in many moments.
U2 sucks and I hope they all die suffering.
Goku was underwhelmig. He had a massive plot armor, got power ups he never deserved and shouldn't have gotten, he just became less and less interesting, just a fighting freak with nothing else to offer and the only good thing out of him was his little development with the trust conflict. But still, his lines were so weird and stupid sometimes with no context, I swear. He can't say anything sibstantial out of his mouth, very limited vocabulary too. Other than being the main character with plot armor, he has nothing.
But that's a problem I have with Goku in Super as a whole so it's unfair.
He was pretty awesome in 131 though.

Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
Caulifla and Kale were the breakout characters for me. Tons of fun as soon as Kale begins to develop past her timidness, and Kafla is great. It helps that they both got to develop in interesting ways over the course of their fights.
Ribrianne and co. were also enjoyable, though I remain baffled by her use in the anime, which builds up continuous sincerity for her—in the way Toriyama sometimes transitions gag characters into more sympathetic characters (think Cell arc Mr. Satan)—only to decide she really is just an asshole and waste her on an #18/Kuririn relationship highlight episode. Such a head-scratcher.
The rest, outside of Universe 11, are mostly there for one-off obstacles or gags, but that’s fine.

Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
I really enjoyed Dyspo, Toppo, the Trio De Dangers, and the whole dynamic Caulifla and Kale had going. Saonel/Pirina and Obuni were also handled exceptionally well.
Jiren was a real stinker throughout and the only bits that I felt came remotely close to redeeming him as a decently-written character were his very last scenes in the final episode. Not sure what the fuss over Anilaza is (too much like Hatchiyack, who isn't even that interesting himself) but Paparoni was entertaining enough. The Kamikaze Fireballs were great in concept but left an awful taste in my mouth by the time their roles were finished, especially Ribrianne.

Re: How did you like the characters introduced in the ToP?
Clear for Anyone around here that Knows Me I Completely Loved The Kamikaze Fireballs of Universe 2 and Universe 2 as a Whole!
Ribrianne/Brianne De Chateau, Sanka Ku/Kakunsa & Su Roas/Rozie where a Breath of fresh air for a series I felt was just copying old character arch-types for to long, just being cruise control it felt. Been waiting also for so long for Magical Girls to be in the Dragon Ball Mythos since the late 90's and it finally happened! They had allot of ideals of what I like about Magical Girls, while giving them healthy amount of funny to them that was purely enjoyable. I felt they needed further development to become better, but got more in the ToP then I had hoped.
They also Proved to be characters that where willing to learn better lessons like how Magical Girl characters always do. When they found a New and even Purer forms of Love from Android 18 and Krillian, they took that lesson to better themselves, that was a welcome development cause it is a core element of Magical Girl characters. Also, their ideals of love where still good and had their universes and peoples best intentions that they all believed in, but they are willing to evolve in their beliefs to better forms of it and I take that as good character growth.
Also their caring for one another was another great direct ideal of Magical Girl Characters and Most of all Ribrianne was one of the ONLY Characters I saw, Toppo as well, to show Really Care and Worry about their Universe being Erased and if they can defend it, this was in Episode 111!
As for the Disliked that seemed to be On the Net over them, honestly I am fine if you don't like a character, that is your right, just the Malice Campaign that was around various parts of the net was unnessary and weird. It really also just to seem to boil down, the dislike, about personal preference of their characters. But really this is something as fans we have to just realize exists, not all characters in a show will be to our liking and it will be that way for all shows we watch and while I like for The Kamikaze Fireballs to get developed and more ironed out, I don't want much to change at all about them to please those that don't like them cause they encapsulated much of what I and I know others like about Magical Girls.
While done with a hint towards more comedy wise, still the The Kamikaze Fireballs encapsulated the main ideals and themes of Magical Girls and that is their Powers come mostly and that is from Love! They live by the ideals of Love and are willing to better themselves when the time teaches them in Love and Friendship. They are not meant to be perfect characters and that is what I love about Magical Girls, they are as human as human can be with understandable flaws and are willing to learn when they need too.
So if they are not your Bag of Liking that is ok, I just think the Malice and Malice Campaign I saw on the net in some places and the bullying about liking them just got over the top, not on Kanzenshuu, but other parts of the net. Just enjoy who you want and other fans will enjoy who we want. DB is one of the most diverse and rich shows with unique character out their, their will always be characters one does not fit with, but realize with honoring in your heart that others will enjoy them as much as you enjoy who you like!
So Yea, The Kamikaze Fireballs and Universe 2, All of Theme, are some of My Most Liked Character in the Dragon Ball Mythos Now, with Ribrianne/Brianne De Chateau being my #1!
Going On, Kale and Caulifla also become Heavy Favorites of mine in the ToP arc!
Kale more then Caulifla, but that is not a hit on Caulifla but more then I have always enjoyed the shy and quiet style of character since they remind me allot of Myself at a young age being both very shy and unsure of my own confindence. So I releated to Kale allot in these regards of gaining confidence and breaking out of her shell to do what matter most o the the UNIVERSES ~~~~~ Please and Gain the Approval of her Sis Caulifla!
Caulifla was a Bad-A$$ that backed down to no one and brought a spark of sassy to DB that I have greatly enjoyed. Like Goku I consider her a Prodigy of a character and able to improve herself in vast ways and how she showed that and her support of Kale was great!
Toppo was a Great Super Hero Archtype, Great Intro and his ideals of Justice, caring for his universe, his teammates and the people he protected was inspiring! Also his defense of The Kamikaze Fireballs in Episode 102 was one of the FUNNIES moments in the Show that had me LMAO, Seriously!
Others I liked where the U6 Namekins ~~~ U11's Kahseral ~~~ U9's Sorrel, Hopp and the Trio-De-Dangers ~~~ U10's Obuni & Lilibeu and Finally U3's Katopesla and Maji Kayo!
