What makes them better out of curiosity? do theirs have slightly better quality? it can't be that much better can it?
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

+ Picture quality's better
+ Japanese audio has better bitrate
+ Includes all extras as intended, as well as the two TV-Specials (Bardock & Trunks) plus the OVA (Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans).

Due to the R1 Dragon Box Z lacking the TV-Specials I had to bought them separately, and so got the old FUNimation singles that are in 4x3 AR as opposed to the Double Features' edition that has been cropped to 16x9 AR.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

I knew about the extra's and I'm not doubting you on the picture quality but I would love to see comparison pics. :P

I think there is some compression issues due to Funimation added an extra episode. I remember seeing some compression in some of the action scenes in the Buu episodes but nothing you'd know if you didnt really know about it

Yeah, it's like the Saga Sets when seen in-motion it's not really noticeable, well I didn't see the compression except for when I'd pause the episodes at certain moments.

I probably would've done the same. Missing 2 boxes (specifically the insanely expensive Box 2) would've drove my OCD mad, yet Box 2 isn't worth what it goes for.
