Toriyama was talking of a 'formidable foe'. Well, if he could go Oozaru, that surely would make him formidable.
A Super Saiyan Berserker Oozaru might be interesting. It would allow the villain to take on a large group of fighters at once.
If he'd be a challenge for so many fighters and MUI he has to be able to perform some kind of immense power-up. One should indeed consider for instance a very strong ancient SSJ-transformation (maybe even comparable with SSJG?)combined with the Oozaru-form.

Out of all the things we could see from the new saiyan, I’d say a SSJ4 type transformation or an SSBerserk are likely although the former might be wishful thinking.
I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie.

Oozaru isn’t really a strong transformation

If dragon ball was able to make Roshi retardedly strong, surely they can make Oozaru relevant again. They’ve already shown they don’t care about details established in Z as long as they can make it look good.

I believe Vegeta said that it multiplied his power by 10. In GT, it could be combined with Super Saiyan.

It's a good thing, as a fan, you notice it when unbelievable power-ups or retcons occur. But i do feel sorry for fans that can no longer enjoy the show because of that. Because there is no reason to: there always have been and will be unbelievable power-ups and retcons.
Master Roshi giving Frost a run for his money, was a truely great episode. I also noticed in the back of my mind (what the ...), but it didn't actually make me enjoy the episode less. I understand the show has number one priority. If Legendary Oozaru fighting 20-30 guys at once delivers a great epic sequence, i don't care they retcon the original Oozaru-multiplier.
I have accepted a long while ago there always will be retcons. It doesn't make me enjoy the show less, although i do notice them. Unless they execute very extreme things (like a complete overwriting of the end of Z), i don't worry about it. Everything needs to be put in its right perspective.

I really like that idea. Imagine Z Movie 13 but instead of Goku, Gohan and Gotenks against Hirudegarn – It's SSBKKX20 Goku, SSBE Vegeta and Golden Freeza against a super powerful Oozaru. Then, right when our heroes are about to lose – Goku activates Ultra Instinct and kicks the villain's ass.

When I was a kid, I could overlook it. When I was 11 I was able to pick out inconsistencies, but just decided to overlook them in Z. Overall, DB and Z somewhat followed similar paths. Super however, decided to just do their own thing.
There are ways around these ridiculous power ups. A very simple solution would’ve been a similar approach to how they handled Vegeta and Nappa in the Saiyan Saga. They trained with Kami to get stronger. All they had to do was come up with a similar approach and have them train with Whis for a certain amount of time. Problem solved ish. Yes Z had its problems, but they at least tried to justify it some kind of way. Super just wanted to pretend like kids were idiots and they wouldn’t be able to catch stuff like that. I’ll be the first to tell you that I wasn’t the sharpest kid in the world at 11, but I was still able to follow along and point out problems in a show. If I was a kid and watched straight through dragon ball, Z and Super, I’d be like WTF at some parts.
On topic, I really hope this movie gets more attention to detail than Super did. I’m definitely curious as to how this animation is going to look as a whole.

I think the animation in particular will probably be the most interesting thing about the film to watch for in the upcoming trailers, and I say that because I and a lot of other people belief that it will be easily one of, if not, the films strongest asset.

If not, that sucks. I miss him in Dragon Ball so much lol
I would love his return alongisde Shunsuke Kikuchi, but remember this a Super not a Z movie (though BoG and RoF also were and they were absent, but you got my point lol) so we should expect Norihito Sumitomo and Akira Kushida.
I don't mind Sumitomo at all. He did pretty well in the Future Trunks and Universal Survival arcs.

That DB U.S tour is DBS and movie related:

This might mean the movie is indeed releasing on December in the USA too.

If the movie hits the theatres during December, when would it normally be available online?
In my country (Belgium) anime doesn't seem that popular. In the multimediastores there even ain't the slightest hint of anime on blue ray or dvd. Manga is pretty difficult to find as well. You seem to be an alien if you mention Dragon Ball (or could it just be my looks?). I hope the theatrical release will be here in December, it normally should but i somehow have my concerns.

If they're doing this roadshow style (like big cities only) I'm definitely stuck waiting until the home release.
This is part of why I like weekly tv series better; way more inclusive. Watch from your home. Watch on the go. Pause when you want. Resume when you want. Much easier for me.
On hiatus.

The tour is in July, they're just going to I assume do promotion etc for the series and movie.

Oh! That's better.
I was thinking the movie was gonna be like California, Texas, Florida, New York, maybe Illinois and Massachusetts and I'd be like oh well.
But of this is some unrelated promotion in the summer then that's not bad.
On hiatus.

You mean illegally? Well, for the past few movies they leaked a few months after they premiered in Japan.

That first image is made specially for the tour that is meant to promote the movie, right? I'm a little surprised they still used the old style, though I guess it makes some sense seeing as Super is still airing in the U.S. and that style is what most are familiar with.
Seeing them so close together makes it even more apparent how different they are.

I think it would be cool if the Saiyan enemy in this movie is the "real" Super Saiyan God that Beerus dreamt about, maybe he's a god of destruction from one of the destroyed universes (which maybe now are back after 17's wish?).
I'd really like to see a transformation related to the tail, like SSJ4, although I always thought that any enemy could just cut the tail and win easily against a SSJ4.
