I've always liked Ice locations and this'll be a nice change from the dark backgrounds we had in the tournament and RF.

And it means we'll probably always get an ice stage in the video games now, just like how a stage above Earth is a staple stage now, which is great for people like me who love cold locations in games.

I'm hoping that them randomly updating the site like this is just them getting ready for monthly info drops alongside V-Jump.
Even if it just starts with them showing some character designs.

That would be nice! The village from Second Coming being re-used for every ice fight in XV2 was getting kind old.

I really hope they just show us what this new Saiyan looks like soon. We already saw most of him in the teaser, so unless it's some kind of spoiler, just let us see his mug already.

For me, that seems a lot more plausible than it's Yamoshi himself. His head doesn't look very humanoid, he could very well be half monkey, even more than SSJ4. I wouldn't object they would make him a real scary freak, that would be cooler than the traditonal more human looking Saiyan.

The question remains, if that first battle took place on Sadala, how did he get encasted in the earth's ice, or did he just travel to earth later on? In the first trailer it was stated 'the earth has Goku'. This could imply the battle probably effectively takes place on one of Earth's polar caps.

I'm kind of ready for spring and more than done with winter (that March snow was ridiculous), but a db movie that takes place in winter could be fun. It's been a while since Dragon Ball's done cold weather (Movie 7 was the last time they had snow and ice I think.)

The movie's coming out in December so snow is a seasonally appropriate thing anyway.

Getting ridiculously excited over the notion of seeing a saiyan with a tail again. I always loved that part of their original design and that shadow of the tail makes me giddy. Maybe we'll even get an ouzaru scene. Also like the fact that the hair doesn't seem to be super spiky and outlandish.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how everyone from the cast looks in the new style, but really curious about this new character, too. Shallot's design made me really hopeful that we'll be going back to the old saiyan designs.

Me too. Was really disappointed when none of the U6 Saiyans had them.

Didn't Yamoshi die tiring himself out against superior numbers?

I'm also a fan of the bulkier, tailed U7 saiyan designs so I'm also happy the new character looks to likely have these features.

But Sadala eventually got destroyed. Maybe it wasn't destroyed in the Yamoshi battle, but in the Super Saiyan God one, which would explain:
- Why Vegeta never heard of a Super Saiyan God. If it happened on Planet Vegeta, the legend would have spread.
- How Sadala was destroyed. If Yamoshi got cornered and beat by higher numbers, I doubt the planet got destroyed in that occasion which explains why the Super Saiyan legend was common among Saiyans, as someone survived to tell about it. I also find it more plausible that Yamoshi's spirit wandered on Sadala and not Vegeta. The movie's villain being the evil Saiyan who fought against the first Super Saiyan God in a battle that destroyed the Saiyan's homeplanet would also make him a much more fearsome foe.

I believe that Toriyama decided to retcon his first version of the original SSG story and make it the story of the legendary SSJ, which is why Shenron never talked about the story in Super's retelling of Battle of Gods. If this is the case, that's a smart move by Toriyama. In hindsight I like how Shenron knew of the SSG only because of the Namekian Book of Legends, as it makes the ritual more mysterious and doesn't make Vegeta sound like a ignorant idiot by not knowing of it. It also didn't make sense for the original SSG to have appeared on Planet Vegeta without the legend spreading if the evil Saiyans were able to defeat the Super Saiyan God.

I would definitely like to see the movie show us both Yamoshi, the first Super Saiyan, and the first Super Saiyan God.

This is exactly one of the things I'm expecting to see in a movie about the past of the Saiyans. I want to see everything being covered and explained and some other major Saiyans before we get to the inevitable Goku vs Saiyan part.
