The current Bardock series should be completed in about 6 or 7 volumes. (In 6 or 7 total, or 6 or 7 more? I don't know, since I don't follow his work; the wording here doesn't really indicate.)
After its conclusion, two new series will start at the same time.

It will be the beginning of a story of an unknown future.
The popular Future Gohan and Trunks will play active roles. And, that strongest of enemies ... Please look forward to it.

A new DB World imagined by Young Jijii!
Another world where Gohan never died ... Without creating the Time Machine, Gohan and Trunks, who are unaware of the world of the past, clean up the future as its two greatest powers! It is another future world no one knows about.
*This is a fan-work (doujinshi).
amazing thanks for the sneak preview!!!TheDragonBallGuy75 wrote:I'm amazed it took him a whole year to get to this point.
Good news for everyone wanting to hear more on this project. Young Jijii released most of the pages of the book on his Twitter a week or two ago. I went ahead and compiled/translated the lot (if anyone ever managed to get the last few let me know).
Here we go peeps, enjoy![]()

Basically yeah. If anyone's up for giving it a more professional translation I'd be more than happy to take it down (but I don't see that ever happening). About Pepper town, I never watched the Future Trunks special, so once I got that out the translator, I had no reason to doubt it. Same with the "Kuso" really. Also, the odd misspelling is an unfortunate occurrence when you're typesetting three projects at once without any other help.VegettoEX wrote:Are you using Google Translate on these or something? There are some basic mistakes. I don't know where you're getting "Tsuta Town" out of "Pepper Town" (ペッパータウン), for example, even if you were using an online tool (especially since it's the same town name as from the original source material). Dunno how I feel about Trunks' seemingly-internal "kuso" as "Screw you!!" And stuff like "balloon" and "embarrassing" are misspelled. I would recommend another pass on projects like these.
But wait, if you used Google translate isn't that the polar opposite of doing a good job?TheDragonBallGuy75 wrote:VegettoEX wrote: Honestly sir, if these are your only complaints I think i did a pretty darn good job, but to each their own. Hopefully you got a few minutes of entertainment out of it.
You know there's a lot more to this don't you? -_-Captain Awesome wrote:But wait, if you used Google translate isn't that the polar opposite of doing a good job?TheDragonBallGuy75 wrote:VegettoEX wrote: Honestly sir, if these are your only complaints I think i did a pretty darn good job, but to each their own. Hardly.TheDragonBallGuy75 wrote: You know there's a lot more to this don't you? -_-
I collected the pages, (upscaled half of them that weren't in HD) used OCR to get the (admittedly flawed) translation and then typesetted the pages.
Considering that you'd have to have some knowledge of Japanese (as VegettoEX clearly does) to even know I used Google Translate, yeah I do think I did a good job.
If it bothers you that much nobody is forcing you to read it. These manga are quite clearly never going to get a professional English translation. It still takes time to put this all together. I just wanted to help people to read them. If you don't like it fine, but your attitude is quite condescending.Captain Awesome wrote:
Hardly.
The images were already online, that's half the work already done it's not like you had to scan and clean them before typesetting could begin and in 2018 I'd hardly call up-scaling a monochrome image particularly laborious.
The problem is that you didn't translate the manga at all, using OCR to grab the characters so that you can feed them into an automated program is not a translation. The problem with this kind of output is that you don't need any real knowledge of Japanese to spot the mistakes (pepper town, kuso mistranslated).
Honestly, don't do something if you are not doing it properly. Just don't.TheDragonBallGuy75 wrote:Basically yeah.
