FUNi has dubbed it all. GT is actually the only Dragonball-series that is available in a complete, consistent format. And assuming that it's still in stock, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting it all. Here are some Amazon-links:
Episode 1 - 16 These are the ones that FUNimation labeled "The Lost Episodes", even though they weren't actually lost, just randomly skipped for no reason.
Episode 17 - 31
Episode 32 - 47
The Goku Jr. TV-special
Episode 48 - 64

$40 for five volumes of three-to-four episodes each is expensive? That's a steal in this industry.Aerc wrote:Thanks. So all 5 of those are the entire GT? 40+ bucks for the box sets seems expensive.

Or just wait for the 2 "remastered" Seasons.
Anime volumes from the US are usually $20 or more and they're $40 or less here, our economy sucks. Though one English company called Manga Video do volumes for £17 or less, and then do boxsets for pretty much the same price, which actually raised some controversy. I also know that no one is buying their Naruto or Bleach DVDs since they English-ised the Subtitles so that Ramen becomes Pot Noodle, and Volume 3 has only Dubtitles. Manga Video aaaallways do that.
American Releases are good since they're half price and all you need is a Multi-region DVD player which is about $10. I've also helped people to boycott buying English DVDs from Manga, ADV Films, MVM Films and Revelation Films (Funimation) and import instead, and it's going fine, there can be exceptions, like if it has good subtitles and is a reasonible price, like both Karas movies and both Ghost in the Shell movies and series.
It's also very convinient since almost anything comes out in America and we only get 40% of stuff released here, and if its foreign then it's more expensive.
In England they can be £50 or £60, which is $100 or more, always best to import, I found Gantz for £60 ($120) in store, and found the US boxset online it was under £30 ($60).Sun_Wukong wrote:Yeah seriously, most season sets of American TV shows can be anywhere from $50-60VegettoEX wrote:$40 for five volumes of three-to-four episodes each is expensive?
