Whaaa? Haven't you seen DBAF?! It goes up to SSJ10!
No, no, no, no! Okay, I realize that since not everyone has seen the DBAF doujinshii (and as explained before, there may be 100's of different types), but there is only up to SS5, reached by Goku and Vegeta.

Anyway, where are they going with this game? So far, we have at least one DBGT character (well, transformation), SS4 Goku; and at least 3 movie characters - Cooler, Broly, and Gogeta. So... is it going to be a DB game showcasing non-canon (IE GT and movies)?

I wish I could, so I could get people who still think it's real to shut up. But the entire AF collection (except for one issue belongs to my cousin, who now lives in Georgia. So unless she makes it up here sometime soon, or I can finally convince her to UPS 'em to me (as I have been trying to do for almost 2 years now), you'll just have to take my word for it. Or not. It's entirely up to you. The point is, there never was any Super Saiyans past five in it.

Basically, Goku goes off training on other planets (leaving Uub behind... he's like in, one panel of the whole damned comic), becomes SS4 (as this takes place INSTEAD of GT), and is tricked into thinking a Goddess of another planet is Chi-Chi, thus procreating with her. When Goku returns, there is a half God, half Saiyan there who claims he is Goku's son, Goshin. Chi-Chi gets pissed at Goku, but Goshin convinces her it was his mother's fault, not Goku's. Then Chi-Chi throws a huge-ass ki blast (yes, you read that right) at the Goddess' planet and blows the motherfucker to kingdom come.

Then there's a bunch of silliness about Freezix, a member of Freeza's race who comes to challenge Goku, then mutates him with a poison (the poison wears off). Then Baby comes, and is killed quickly, without him possessing anyone. Then Nappa and Raditz appear as Super Saiyans, but are about as tough as Goku and Vegeta in SS3/4. Broly appears during the Nappa/Raditz fight as a SS4, but is easily killed by Goku (WTF?).

Then there's a robin blue-haired, supposedly full-blooded Saiyan (?) named Botonks who comes and tries to fight Goku for killing Raditz and Nappa, but then Goshin becomes SS4 and kills him. Botonks comes back as a SS4 himself, but by that time, Goku's achieved SS5 and scares the piss out of him (literally). Botonks becomes a good guy.

Then Baby is in the Soul Washing Machine (remember Movie 12?) and posesses Goku's malevolence that left him when he hit his head as a child, then becomes SS3 Evil Goku (please don't ask). He uses the Inga Genkidama (?) to kill SS5 Goku, 18, Yamcha, and Marron... then uses a "Black Kamehameha" to blow up a mall Bra was in. Vegeta goes SS5, gets his ass kicked. Bulma and Videl use the DBs to bring Goku back, and he uses a Genkidama that uses the energy of everyone in every universe and dimension to kill Evil Goku. The ending involves Goku saying he wants to train to be even stronger. The end.

Interesting enough, most (but not all) of the crappy screencap edits you see out there like SS3 Vegeta and SS4 Trunks are actually characters in the manga... there is a lot I left out because I simply can't remember it all... it HAS been, like 3 years since I've read them. I hope I've enlightened you :p

Could anyone translate the "Inga" in Evil Goku's attack?

Anyway, back on topic... Budokai 3... yeah...

Fans of SSJ4 Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta ought to be happy. I wonder if this is just including the GT saga+Cooler+Broly

Speaking of Broly, why does Goku's full height only reach Broly's crotch?

To make things even easier for certain fanfiction writers.

My question is what kind of a story can include Cooler, SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta, and SSJ4 Gogeta (sucks), Broly (who is far outmatched at SSJ2, nevermind 3 and 4 (though SSJ3 and ESPECIALLY SSJ4 really never looked impressive... seriously), and so on and still be like the series and not horrible fanfiction (though, I'm not really a fan of that stuff anyway, myself)?

I can't wait to kick that smarmy SSJ4 Gogeta's ass with someone like Yamcha or Nappa.

I hope Cell doesn't start out in his first form and have to work his way up through charging ki like in Budoukai 1. It just makes no sense. I'd just rather have perfection be a capsule or something, where he suddenly absorbs the androids.

He's Perfect permenantly in Budokai 2...which I think is a bit of a shame. Granted, it doesn't match what happens in the series, but it does add something to him as a playable character.

Yay! More forms of Freeza!

And I hope Broly has more than just his LSS form...

Hehe. Not being able to say anything about these new "developments" isn't usually this difficult for me.

I've probably said too much already.

That was cryptic...

Should be interesting to see how small characters like Vegeta and Kuririn are against Brolli  Unless they don't keep them in proportion.

Vegeta isn't really that short in the Budokai games anyway. He's at the height he was at the end of the series, rather than his height when he first shows up (when he was, indeed, a short arse).

True. He's portrayed as very small in the intro to Budo2 (Where he's fighting Goku for the 1st time). He's still shorter than most of the characters though. Again, it'll be way funny for the chibis and Kuririn to fight Brolli XD
