Definitely on topic. Good work.

Oh, and the cutscenes from the first...

I hope they renew the capsules too. No more kaioken for supersayian!
And unlimited time for Vegeto! (ops they already did it in Shin Budokais)
I totally forgot about the capsules! I can understand why people would want to keep them, but I'm a Super DBZ fanboy and would rather see things done that way. I'm guessing that it might be something different than Capsules or Super DBZ tree-style growth since this is looking to be a new series.

Must not backseat mod, must not backseat mod, MUST NOT BACKSEAT MOD!!!....

I wonder if the end-of-DBZ teenage interpretations of Goten and Trunks will be in Burst Limit. I'd like to keep the character count on the lower end just so that Dimps can focus on making each character more unique from the others so it'll play more like a Street Fighter, Tekken, or Soul Calibur. However, I wouldn't mind seeing a few unique ones like a teen Goten from DBZ and not DBGT.

They better have Uub, too. Uub's Kiai was so fun in Budokai 3.

Well not me, I still hope we can get back Skill Editing from B3 because
I like to make my fighters my own. To get "early goku" "goku mediun"
"goku late" is SO lame. An early goku with kaioken.... it is just not right.

After all when you get lots of different fighting styles you cant smash fast
and burst. Dragonballz for me is just like atari´s decatlhon, freaking
out on the the joypad. But that is me of course.
On dragonballz show they just rush and punch thats all and thats the way
of rebelion.

I hope the game is nothing like the Budokai series and is a completely new experience. Just because it's Dimps doesn't mean it'll be like the Budokai games. Also I really hope there's free flight. The Budokai series lacked that and that's what made me go onto the Sparking games and never look back.

New experience is good, but it looks to be a fighter. So, as a fighter, I hope it's more like Budokai or Super DBZ than Sparking. Sparking was okay, but definitely not my favorite style.

Free flight as in flying as far away from your opponent as you want, or flying at anytime? It is possible to fly at any time in Budokai 3, you just have to dash backwards and hit up as you hit back. I don't think the game tells you though.

I'm guessing the former. But, the free-flight of Sparking and the side-positioned camera from... everything else... can be combined, really. You wouldn't be able to fly as far away in order to keep both characters on screen, but it can be done. Same can be said with walking around almost completely freely.

Only time will tell. I guess, according to the main page, a playable version will be available at Jump Fiesta this weekend. After that, hopefully enough news and video surface so that we know more and have more specified stuff to speculate on.

Hmm...it's looking very likely to be the other way, but images tend to be deceiving, I suppose.

Jeux-France has updated their most recent Burst Limit post with some amazing screen shots! Burst Limit's cut scenes remind me of the Budokai 1 cut scenes. They could be better. (From what I can tell, anyways.)

As Sasuke mentioned, new shots are up and it looks like the Budokai-game engine is back. :D

Well so much for a new game engine... :?

The graphic do look pretty nice, and I have no where near the amount of cash to get a PS3 or 360.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

All I want to know is: Can we jump? and Will it still include the rock, paper, scissors style gameplay?

What I meant was "I'm guessing that he's asking about the former," not that "the game will feature Sparking-style gameplay."

Oh, and this looks like yet another retelling of the series. I guess since this is the first one for 360 and PS3 it would be logical to start off by telling the story. However, I also think that we'll still be having the story retold to us again over the next three games. The only thing I can really hope for in addition to what they're doing is maybe some sort of generic "Arcade Mode" that may or may not have it's own independent story where random opponents are thrown at me for about 10 to 12 stages and it finishes off with a random "big villain" fight.

At least with retellings, though, you can bet that there'll be some new features to make that retelling more fun.

New scans look fucking awesome. I hope it plays like Budokai (which it looks like it will according to the screenshots).
