No, I'm pretty sure it was more that he was a mutant among his race, along with Cold.

No, I'm pretty sure it was more that he was a mutant among his race, along with Cold.

And Frost, apparently. Dunno how two universes just happen to get the same mutations in the same race, much less how two universes happen to have the exact same races evolve.

Well, they are mirror universes and considering how the universe 6 Saiyans very much mirror the universe 7 Saiyans in the sense they can go Super Saiyan, I don't think its implausible that there was at least one of Freeza's race in universe 6 that underwent a similar mutation at birth, or for better terms, was a fighting prodigy at birth.

I don’t think that race needs females, since you wouldn’t be able to tell the males and females of that race apart lol. Freeza is feminine enough as it is and there’s a reason why a lot of fans have always mistaken him for a woman.

As far as Freeza’s race is concerned, I don’t think they’re going to bother with that.

I think it depends on how big of a role he has. Personally I'd love to at least get a name for his race.

Freeza is what you might call a mutated life-form. Strictly speaking, Freeza’s father is a mutant with an abnormally high battle power. And, born from his father alone4, still in strong possession of the mutant traits, was Freeza.
Accordingly, even saying “Freeza’s race”, these two are the only ones who possess an abnormal [level of] battle power and cruelty.

Wolverine is a mutant, but you wouldn't call him the only one of his kind. He's just a specialized human. If Frieza and Cold are mutants, then what race did they mutate from? What did the mutations do to make them unique? Are they the only ones of their kind who can transform? Are they just super powerful compared to their ancestors? He didn't really say.

Gotta disagree here, the extended edition makes the film a lot worse and it so drags for me, non extended cut the film lacks immediacy and this is more apparent in the extended cut, examples before Goku arrives shit gets dragged on and we get some lame rock paper scissors gag or the fact that as soon as the big "battle" between Goku and Beerus starts we get more pointless cutaways to the cast that just kill any sense of the battle. Nothing in the film screamed yes this deserved to be a movie I gotta agree with Bullza throughout the entire thing it just screamed "OVA".

Ultimately that is what I want to feel from this new movie as I finish it I want to be like yes this deserved to be a movie.

I don't want the usual trope of Goku coming at the last minute to the final battle. It has gotten stale to me and not very interesting to watch.

Gokou is the main character so he has to be in the final battle somehow. I don’t mind it too much since I am aware Gokou will be the main focus unless Toriyama wand the focus to be primarily on someone else.

I want Goku involved but I would like if it was a different ending like we got in the TOP.

In that case, a Frieza race should definitely exist out there somewhere. A glimpse into their homeworld (if it hasn't been totally destroyed in both U6 and U7) would be nice and give us some incite into Frieza and his family and what it is that makes them special as opposed to the "nonmutants" of their race. (Technically, everybody has mutations in their genes, but they're usually pretty mundane. And mutations are what drive evolution, so every living thing is a "mutant," but whatever.)

thing is they would be mutants by their races standards, so its more fitting to call them that, but I get what you mean.

I feel it does need females and shouldn't just go unexplained. Hell there's plenty of fanart for females of that race and plenty of ideas for them. But Dimps/Toei/Shueisha just won't capitalize on it. It'd be easy to do to expand upon their history and design.

Also naming them can actually be pretty easy too and appropriate. Just think of what Toriyama considered Freeza to be; a land shark. But instead of just buying and selling property, he's doing it to planets across space. So, make Freeza's race Space Sharks and combine the words for space (Kuuhaku) and shark (wanizame). So something like Kuwanijin or Kuzamejin. Going by my limited language skills here.

I can think of a few reasons Abo and Cado didn't appear during Frieza's invasion of Earth.

1. The two were no longer with the Frieza Force, either because of their failures or because they decided to quit.

2. They were busy keeping rebellious planets in line. With the Frieza Force spread thin enough already, Sorbet decided to leave them where they were. After all, they had Frieza, so what could go wrong?

3. Toriyama forgot about them. (My bets would go on this one.)

In any case, I don't think we'll be seeing Tarble again. Even in his movie, Tarble didn't have much to contribute. He just served as the herald to the villains. Now that we have Cabba, Tarble is even more unnecessary. Cabba is basically a stronger, more interesting Cabba.
