I agree with TGDweezl. (That's also when Vegeta became my fave character!) Sure you could get rid of the characters other than Goku, but you would have lost a lot of the shows appeal. The reason I like DBZ is the character interaction. Take away a lot of the main characters and you don't have that.

I know. My point wasn't that losing the other characters would have no effect. It was that losing them wouldn't have as big of an effect as if you'd gotten rid of Goku.

Why is everyone jumping off topic wherever I go? Do I smell bad?

All I'm saying is that Krillin, Yamucha, and Piccolo who were key characters in DB and early DBz should not have been pushed to the back. I mean Yamucha was Goku's first real rival I think. Piccolo was the greatest threat Earth had seen before Radtiz, etc. And Piccolo is tied to the DBs. And Krillin is Goku's best friend who died to Frieza and sent Goku over into SSJ. You really can't just shove them into the darkness when they are so important.

Yeah, he's like an evil James Bond! Although in my opinion, James Bond is pretty evil already..

*cough* Anyway, I think a lot of people like Vegeta because of the badboy attitude and the looks, but personally I like his character development and the way he interacts with other characters.

Sorry for mistaking you for a guy Snen. These guys here told me to always assume someone's a male until proven otherwise after I assumed, (giggle), Dayspring was a girl,(sorry again about that Dayspring!
